Ben are you related to Walt Postlewait? I knew an older gentleman that was a baseball umpire that worked in M.L.B and taught us to umpire when we were kids. Just curious, I'm considering applying for a position with the county. I'd like to do what you do.

All the wig wags that got removed was when they abandoned the Tillamook Line a decade after the 2007 washout. And there is the wig wag on display at the start of the Banks-Vernonia Trail In Banks Oregon. A lot of Branchline Railroads Shortline Railroads and Trolley Railroads and Narrow Gauge Railroads get converted into bike Trails

I was 8 years old and my parents took me down there to look around after the water receded and we went into GRANTS. Silt was inches deep and everything was wet. I still remember the smell of the willamette river mud very well.

imagine if the homeowner wasnt spraying the fire with the garden hose? think he was keeping that fire just on the brink from flashing over. if that fire didnt have any cooling on it period, there was a chance the fire could have flashed when the fire fighters were in the stairwell...huge props to the homeowner as well as the firefighters for saving a life

Bravo! Finally someone to name it as it is. 'Wild foods are traditional foods that we've (we in modern societies mainly) lost touch with. They're not crazy, not about survival, they are normal foods! All wild food are traditional that come with great variety.' And also you spoke out at the beginning. Cudos. Now Im also clearer about myself why I go after them so much, because of that statement :) Much love

What is your opinion of hay as a mulch, as famously used by Ruth Scout. It’s enjoying a revival in Europe after her books on no-work gardening have been translated into various European languages

I have been putting 8" of natural bark mulch around my fruit trees. H2O flows through it fine and it breaks down faster than wood chips. It makes fantastcally black soil as it breaks down. I have read that bark contains more nutrients than wood chips. I also use to cut logs for firewood and where the mostly bark plus sawdust piled up over the years it made black beautiful soil. Please try your own experiment using natural bark mulch. I use both bark mulch and wood chips and prefer bark mulch. Love your informational video.
