Emre, who was originally born in Frankfurt as the son of an expatriate family in Afyonkarahisar, learned that Aysel Önüç, a neighbor of 3 children, who has kidney disease, and 54-year-old Aysel Önüç, did not go to his hometown Kiğı during the summer vacation. Upon this, Emre Can, a football player from Juventus, decided to donate dialysis device to Kiğı. Contacting the authorities in Bingöl, Can donated his dialysis machine to the Kiğı Integrated State Hospital. The device installed in the dialysis center was offered to the patients in the district. This exemplary behavior of Emre Can was also a great morale for the kidney patients undergoing dialysis. Provincial Health Manager Uzm. Dr. Mehmet Emin Gündoğdu stated that the 15-Bed Kiğı Integrated State Hospital started to operate in 2017, and stated that a dialysis unit with 2 devices was established within the hospital for patients living in Kiğı and Adaklı and with kidney failure. Gündoğdu continued his speech as follows: “Currently, 7 of our patients receive service on two devices. A total of 3 devices are ready. In the summer months, we continue this service in case of need for up to 12 patients. There is no obstacle for all our patients to come to Kiğı and Adaklı in order to spend their summer holidays with peace of mind.
