God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. [Psalms 67:1] Just to note: It is quite clear that the gospel [as preached by Paul] is hid from many in this time. I understand this to be a measure of the perilous nature of this time. Having listened to this preacher of the Word for a year and a half, now, I have only ever been edified. I hope I'm not the only one who figures that this one immediately demands another listen and will almost certainly merit a third :) Brings to mind the [numerous?] occasions where Jesus challenges his apostles with the words, "O ye of little faith". The 'fear and trembling' with which Paul exhorts the believer to work out his or her salvation comes to mind as I type but it suffused my being as I listened ... Why? Well, why not? Many simply put that one away for another day, I suppose, I know I have done. There is nothing secret in truth and being in this 'present evil world', yet not of it, brings with it such knowledge that it's a blessing to happen on a preacher who's experience and knowledge convicts one to examine where one truly stands in the body of Christ, our Lord, with a 'humble heart' [ref: Psalm 131] As much as I am indebted to the preacher who blessed me in the Lord just over 30 years ago, now I can say that I am once again indebted ... to another preacher who [remarkably] even bears a physical resemblance to the first, quite a trip! I believe we are in a time where the most of the world's population is being steadily desensitized to the impending fulfillment of prophecies written in the Holy Bible [KJV] to the extent that the sheer immensity of what is described in scripture is simply not taken seriously in any real sense by many proclaimed believers in the gospel of our salvation. Satan entered Judas in an instant [he had been counted as an apostle!]. What a shocking consideration when one considers that every time we ourselves fall short and sin it's part of the same operation of evil, however slight. What a battle! Does not any and every war increase in intensity as it draws nigh to a conclusion and is it not clear that the pacts which sign one war off contain within it the seeds for the next ... and so on. The purveyors of religion [all religions] are the sowers [wittingly or unwittingly] of these 'bad' seeds and they don't even need a representative to be sitting at the table when these aforementioned pacts are signed. These pacts, by the way, are known as 'Peace Pacts [Treaties]', the irony ... "Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:" [Psalms 144:1] Hallelujah [Holy One of Israel] Jah Bless [Peace in Jerusalem]

"The knowledge of the holy is understanding" ... Thank you, Brother, for your dedication to study; you are a light shining to dispel all manner of ignorance pertaining to this "present evil world" and the confusion wrought by those who got ahead of themselves only to be bewitched by their own senses, thus bound to "lean on their own understanding". And, how can I say so? Simply, this, I have been so beguiled in the past and even to consider it now, I could not realistically tally those times. Such is the nature of ignorance, though one might protest that his intentions were good .. "There is none good but one, that is God." Thus I rely on the intercession of our Lord and his guidance every day in his way. I'm sure that this trust in the Lord is the foundation for each one working out his salvation with "fear and trembling", which, I believe, is a stumbling block for many who would prefer not to consider such scripture, all in the vein of 'a la carte' religionism, whichever denomination, whichever religion .. as might be said: "One for everyone in the audience." :) i.e. it is tempting to feel depressed at how so many resist or outright reject the preacher with his "foolishness of preaching" but that "it pleased God".
