A super mandolinist I hot some tips from, Misha Sheynkman, told me to keep my fingers close to the fretboard just as Chris is doing. None of that fingers in the air stuff.

I just started playing the banjo a couple of months ago. Of course I'm going through various KZfaq videos. It astonishes me how almost all banjo legends are very humble people that don't mind sharing their knowledge in a very understanding way. I'm so glad to be part of this world

I bet he just loved the day that thing showed up for him to keep in tune and holy crap it might not get played a lot but it will need re-stringed from time to time. And here I am such a light weight that I traded off a nice Alvarez ? or was it a Takamine ? 12 string acoustic because I loathed keeping it in tune and that was just for myself and possibly when my band played acoustic shows every month or two.

Let me just say I go to sleep every night to his music,he can make you cry and never say a word. I would marry him tomorrow and all I need is for him to play his violin 🎻 His concert is on my bucket list ✌🏼

Hey Peter..i really loved the G blues video you did on the Sheldon Online Academy..im an intermittent player trying to move up to advanced and i so wish you'd do another for us blues wannabee's..when you have time in your schedule..im interested in some more advanced right hand ascending G riffs..i cant get the confidence cause i stumble with the fingering as i try to ascend upward towards the higher octaves...your broken triads and quardal(4ths) really take me to the area id like to be..thanks sooo much for the help brother

They don't know who Pat Metheny is because they're "Swifties" who listen to the most banal, pedanic, vacuous crap out there called 'pop.' When asked what she thought of today's music Joni Mitchell replied, "There is no muse, just ick."

not quite the only one on earth. Scott Chinery commissioned Linda to make a second Pikasso with no pickups and more inlay. Now owned by a collector. She also made a 36 string archtop version with a soprano, fretless 6 string neck in place of the top 12 on Pat's.
