Well this is a load of shite and lie isn’t it? Almost everything said in this was untrue. How are you legally able to lie like this?

Thanks for the video, my question how do you maintain that straw for long time without rotting because pig waste mixes with it

Hi! This is what is known as a scrape through system, pigs are naturally very clean animals so they have specific areas for dunging. In this system they use the ends of the pens which are on a lightly lower level and this is then scraped away and the manure is cleared from the pen. The central area of the pen is replenished with fresh straw periodically, so this part of the pen stays clean and dry for the pigs to root around and sleep in.

Does the bible give us any indication as to how much of a persons income should be spent on food? People can appear to have very high moral and ethical standards when it comes to animal welfare, alas this rarely survives the weekly trip to the supermarket. Once they cross the threshold, all this is forgotten and they look for the best value cheapest products, and this includes meat. If you buy a whole chicken for £3 you are promoting the very production systems you deplore. Demand is created by the consumer not by the farmer. There are farmers out there producing animals using the highest welfare standards possible, but this is a niche market, because the mass of the population want their meat piled high and sold cheap. If you care about animal welfare, seek out these products, support these farmers and very soon many more farmers will join their numbers. Farmers are very adaptable and will respond quickly to market forces, but only the consumer can create that demand, to give farmer the confidence to adapt.
