Saw Marvin and the Down for the count band in Oxford last night. They performed this song - wow - goosebumps listening to Marvin’s incredible voice and charismatic delivery of this classic. The musicians were amazing too. So glad I found it on KZfaq.

Absolutely love this!! "This Christmas" is one of my favorite Christmas songs. The vocals and the orchestra are fabulous. I don't know of any cover of this song that I enjoy any more than this version. Congrats to everyone for a wonderful performance!! ❤

Watched this video during the holiday 2023 season. What can I say? The orchestra is fabulous, as well as the vocalists. A lovely holiday treat 2 years after the fact. So glad that you videotaped this as it will go down on my playlist so that I will be able to listen to it again and again. Kudos to the entire group!! ❤

One person was particularly fond of the vocals by Mr. Marvin Muoneké. So, naturally I shared "This Christmas"...I think he is part of the back-up singers on this song. I've also shared your Swing Into Christmas Tour 2023 video. Maybe one day your group will make it to Nashville, Tennessee USA. If so, I'll be there watching and listening. This year is particularly hard for me to "get into" the Christmas spirit. Last year my only child died. My heart has been broken. Two days ago I listened to your "Swing Into Christmas LIVE from Cadogan Hall" video from 2 years ago. I loved it and it has certainly lifted my spirits a good deal. @@Downforthecountband Thank you for your kind words. Two reasons to keep Tennessee on your list of places to visit in the US. As you likely know, Nashville IS Music City USA. Albeit we're talking mainly about country/western music. And Memphis, Tennessee has deep roots in blues, jazz, rock-n-roll, soul, and gospel music. 🎶 Memphis has everything from the Beale Street blues to Graceland (home of Elvis Presley). Your group could perform any type of music. I've seen this through binge watching some of your older videos. Again, wishing you a successful holiday tour season. The UK is lucky to have you all. 🙂
