Not much that WW2 happenings....or history. If that was mentioned other goal. Of course Norway and Narvik~~ are extremely beautiful......but your clip is little bit too mixed - different things. Like advertising some hotel :-) Anyway, have a nice day.

Thank you for the Video ,in 1982 i was severel years living in Oberammergau , i learnt 3 years in a Hotel ,just by this waterplace were this video startet (Hotel BÖLD) , i had a great time in Oberammergau ,even I was jogging up to the Kofel in 42 min. I Trained also for Hill-climing in that time .Great place to Be , In wintertime also on the Laber Mountain for Skiing, Thanks

3:55 "Bjerkvik WWII memorial" is not Bjerkvik. The site is Skjomnes on Grindjord. This side is on the opposite side of Narvik, as Bjerkvik.

As folks from Bavaria (Germany) I never feel guilty for crimes ancestors I never got to know commited but I understand the being still very present of the signs of those times in the Uk or parts of Norway etc. and even if I really don't wanna be blamed in any way because I am a free spirit and a internationally travelling person against so many "isms..:" BUT I feel happy anyway to be welcome and to be able to visit the wonderful nature and just be a visitor who honours history over the centuries and beautiful natural surroundings of a country.

Hi! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! I think April is a great time to hike Prekeistolen. The weather in Norway is a little bit unpredictable so i prepare accordingly. If I think there could be ice I bring my crampons. Check the forecast and don’t do anything you don’t feel comfortable just for the sake of a picture. Put more value in the hike than the couple of minutes you’ll spend at the pulpit rock. Be in the present and know how bless you are of being here regardless of the weather. There is no bad weather, just bad clothing. This video is a lot more dramatic than the real thing. I think you guys are going to have a great time hiking Preikestolen at the end of April 🤟🏼

This is going to be our 2nd trip after 10 days in September when we visited Bergen, Flam, Alesund and Geiranger (Our fav place). Thanks for the advice. Much love from USA! there is a story here in Narvik about the warship Grom. it said the germans put the nazi flag on the narvik mountain and grom sniped it all the way from the shore. and the germans went back and put another flag up there and grom the gigachad sniped it again.

@@Seminight7 im glad the Narvik movie on Netflix has gotten more interested in the battle that happend here. As its one of the biggest and sadly forgotten battles of the early stages of ww2. Its Said that they migth make a series about Narvik now that the movie has gotten so much attention. The producers have stated they woud love to make a show that depicts all the battles From the german and english and polish and french and norwegian side.

Narvik movie brought me here. Gonna travel to Norway to see the birthplace of black metal, and to relax on a 🛳 cruise. That movie showed the story of brave people fighting for their homeland.
