Once training is over . My trainer drove car My trainer stalled the car moving from side road to main pulling in 3rd instead 1st. He said it happens to everyone. He has 30 years of experience. This creates anxiety that even it happens to experienced one. What is dangerous other than passing. Is that potential drawback of manual car.

@elitedriving99 Understandable, but I passed my test in 1986 and despite a lot of changes to road layouts etc and new legislations for road users, sign posts and junction rules are largely unchanged since the highway code was introduced on 1931. So people who live in cities🚊and towns 🚘 read of the same hymn sheet as the country bumpkins 🚜

The sign only mentions times, which might lead one to assume those are the ‘valid’ hours for driving in that lane. However, it should also include a red sign indicating that driving during those hours is not allowed. In our context, blue signs provide information or advice, while red signs indicate restrictions that must be followed.

@deang5622
@deang5622 17 күн бұрын
Utter rubbish. The photographs are ALWAYS date and time stamped. If they are not, you can challenge the bus lane ticket in Court. The reason people don't enter the bus lane is not for the reason you stated, it is because they have not noticed and read the restriction sign for the bus lane, so they automatically think it is a 24 hour bus lane and cannot enter it at all.
@grahamnimmo4656
@grahamnimmo4656 17 күн бұрын
It's not utter rubbish..it happened to me when there was no time date stamp on the photo they sent me...just on the letter of offence. It might have been possible to challenge it in court on the basis that there was no time stamp on the photo, but who can afford to win in court and avoid a 100 fine, when you have to take the whole day of work, sometimes more than once to attend court? Also, how do you prove that it wasn't at the actual time that they claim it was? It's almost impossible to prove a negative. Hence, it's safer to always stay out of bus lanes, even if it means queuing....they can't photo you in it at allegedly the wrong time, if you are never actually in it. Finally, with the best will in the world to use them, you often don't have enough time to safely and fully read all of the valid permitted use times, that are found on the bus lane signs, as you drive by them. If you get it wrong, you're screwed. So why take that risk unless you have previous local knowledge of the permitted times. Remember, they refused an appeal on a bus lane fine by a car driver that temporarily pulled into the bus lane just to let an ambulance on blue lights get by! They don't care as long as they get the fine funds!

Only if the tines are listed, The times below the bus lane sign Show the times where the bus lane is active. You can not drive in an active bus lane. If no times are listed then it is a 24h bus lane which you can not drive in at any time. Time may also vary from place to place so make sure to read the times before using the bus lane

@DubStu

And then you risk getting rear-ended by the car behind who expects you to proceed… So many people nowadays stopping at roundabouts unnecessarily, which completely negates the point of the roundabout in first place. They are “Give Way” not “Stop” lines; by all means drive defensively, but don’t blindly stop at roundabouts if you clearly have priority/right of way.
@elitedriving99
