around 12:30 mark, you say hypoventilation results in vasoconstriction, but my understanding is hypoventilating a patient causes an increase in PaCO2 which vasoDILATES.....

I had hypertonic saline treatment.

This is what I had after my ETV. Cerebral salt wasting. My salt level was 103. I was in HDU. Had an arterial line and catheter in. I was dying. Was so scary. Also had acute kidney injury stage 2

17:07 my ETV was awful. I was readmitted after I went home and in for 2 weeks including HDU due to salt wasting syndrome and acute kidney injury stage 2. My salt level was 103

The most painful part of my shunt op was abdominal

I have a programmable vp shunt

I had an mri to diagnose. My ventricles looked like that pic 11:14

I was diagnosed with LOVA hydrocephalus. Had a shunt 7 weeks ago after a failed ETV

Lidocaine is possible . Propofol was used. IV- light sédation . I'm sensitive n allergic.
