Your editing and writing was brilliant, mate. Very well done video essay on an interesting topic. You got phenomenal potential, but please work on the voiceover. Sometimes it sounds like your slurring a bit. Again, this was a great video essay. Excited to see what you do next.

The technical issues you experienced, like max getting stuck on walls, or the bullet time animation getting yourself glued to the floor (that is not supposed to happen) can easily be fixed by downloading some files (just google Max Payne fix and voila). I know having to download fan patches for old games is annoying, and if they sell them to you they should already come pre-patched to work on modern systems, but it is a must with games that are 20+ years old. If something looks weird or janky or appears not to be working correctly, you must assume that it is not running properly. Doing a review and bashing the game for playing like shit on modern software is kind of unfair. WHEN playing with the fixes, the game is a blast and runs like butter. Also, if you'd like to play older Rockstar games and run them properly, i suggest googling, say Grand Theft Auto: Vice City followed by Updated Classic. There used to be steam guides with download links for all these games (Max Payne included) that come prepatched with fixes, and restored content missing from the GTA pc versions. You can only get them from discord now, but i can't provide a link here, just search for it.
