Northbound is already open (see the second half of the video), and I expect southbound to follow in February or March, depending on how much leave the contractors are taking.

We're Brisbane residents who visited Adelaide for the first time just last month. I half expected the SA capital to be similar to Brisbane. How wrong I was! Adelaide reminded me of Brisbane in the early '80s. The lack of tall buildings, and in particular the lack of crowds and traffic, along with quite a few buildings that need some serious money spent to spruce up the CBD. Loved the Adelaide Hills and how close the airport is to the CBD. We were only there for 48 hours, so didn't bother with seeing Glenelg Beach. It just seemed like a mini version of what we have on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, but without the nice weather. As much as I'd like to explore country SA, Adelaide is pretty much a "one visit is enough" kind of town. So is Brisbane.

Nice weather? You've no idea. Our climate is near on perfect. A few hot days in summer and some cold rainy days in winter. Have your humidity and floods and leave us be xx

Still find it hilarious they tore down the old station to build a new one but not grade separate the crossing at the same time, meaning the whole station had to get rebuilt again 10 years later.

There is no housing crisis as such it's a man made greed ( cult imposed 2030 plan) oriented deliberate plan ....oh don't be so blind people ...what's happened to building housing Commission eh??? No excuse none whatsoever ....two words "averis & greed" ...the lifeblood of Australia.

This is really nice. I’m coming to Tonsley for my masters at Flinders. I’m a bit nervous about accommodation though. What suburbs do you recon close to flinders uni with easy access to public transport?
@norm_yt Жыл бұрын
Bedford Park, Clovelly Park and Mitchell Park are all close by. You can also stay in the CBD and catch the train to Tonsley, it's only a 20 minute journey.

Only downside to this is they are eliminating a few right hand turns north and south. Have to make a lot of locals back track to do a U Turn. Classic engineer's making shit look good on paper

Love the medium density housing but I visit there all the time and on-street parking is a nightmare because of all the ground level individual driveways. Wish they took the bowden route and put parking garages and made the streets a bit more pedestrian friendly with wider footpathss, bike lanes, and speed bumps.
@monotonehell Жыл бұрын
Interesting. The medium density residential parts look a bit dormitory and car dependent, but I see there's provision for "retail" area nearby so hopefully that becomes a somewhat self-sufficient thing.
