The hardest part is getting the #1 coil hold down bolt back in. The 3" extension with the wobbly is a must also, just like the video shows. Cheers

I've known people that have used the 93 hardbody flywheel. I don't see why it wouldn't work with 95. They're the same engines. The hardbody used the same engine transmissions from 89 to 98 the only difference being after 96 there is a crank position sensor in the bellhousing

If you took a second Jack and raised the body up by the front bumper it probably would have given you plenty of clearance to remove the alternator. I would also mention that that missing flap is probably responsible for hastening the death of your alternator with dirt and grime. I wanted to note that, it appears on my 97 that I can remove that skid plate and go in from underneath as well . I criticized you so now I'm going to praise you, you did a good job without a bunch of fumbling around... and held a camera. Your video probably will help me. I've never changed anything on this truck and I'm not familiar with it.

Haha I got ya.m and yea u could prob go from bottom too. Prob more room that way but in ease of video thought it would be better angle to show it that way. Good vid. I just replaced my alt on my 92... It has same power steering lines as you... I didnt have to move the lines away.. itll come out if you rotate and angle it when pulling out.. It helps to take off and then replace the wires when it is unbolted and off the mount, before the PS lines.. This way you can see it from the opening and not potentially damage anything while its at a bad visual angle. I have heard you can do this with the tire cocked way over to the right so as to get to the opening.. but it gives way more room with it jacked and blocked up...
