Does Chris Bowen know about this. Who is funding it, how much will it cost, who will operate it and where will it be built.

It seems like power systems at sea might be a possible application. I don't know how power to weight ratios and volume of space required all come into play but it will be interesting to see it both discussed and developed

Good Intro - More information can be obtained from the many videos made by Gordon Mcdowell. Kirk Sorensen has given many fine talks which can also be found on the internet. Knowledge of these reactors is like a critical mass. As the knowledge accumulates, one will eventually be built in North America. One has been built in China.

Not sure how you set the upper limit of MV to 69kV. That is squarely in HV territory. MV tops out at 35kV.

I've seen 69kV, 100kV, and 36kV all mentioned as the upper limit of MV.
