It smells so expensive but cost so less. Giorgio to me is so original and classic and different. Forget all them latest today's high price $100 to $500 fragrance. Giorgio is so elegant than all of them. I am sold bro!👍

I am in quite a few Facebook fragrance groups and one of the admin from one of those is the owner of a fairly successful perfume brand company. @@sikhpilot. No, not really. It is cloying to an extent though. It’s very spice-heavy and thick. Watching my old video back, I seem to have gone a bit overboard about how strong it is. It is strong but not as nuclear as I make out here. This video was made a long time ago in relation to my experience with fragrances. Look mate, it’s so cheap, you could buy it and just bin it or give it away if you don’t like it eh?

I also got a 2008 le male and I absolutely love it. It is way different then the current le male. It’s like two completely different fragrances. I would describe the vintage one more vibrant, nostalgic, powerful and the current le male like if you would to put Cuba gold inside of a le male bottle.

Good description! I find it quite sweet too but mainly dominated by this green, soapy, tomato plant/cannabis thing. Very very strong indeed and mine is a more recent batch. Cheers!

Thank you SunsetSheen! Yeah, it’s a great one and………guess what? I got a bottle out that was almost all used, maybe 5/7ml left. It had been open and sitting for a couple of years. Something has happened to it. It smells quite different, in a good way. More woody, more incense, more sweet. Less green, less rose, less of the camphor smell. It’s amazing as soon as you open it but it gets better. I’ve opened a new bottle and I’m gonna use about 5ml then just leave it for a while. ANYWAY! I keep meaning to do more videos and I will really try. I still love frags and I want to do more reviews. Thanks once again for your kind words x

@@FragFreak I've had that same thing happen with many of the fragrances in my collection. It's amazing how much some of them change over time if you just let them sit in the closet for a bit. Best review on this fragrance that I’ve seen. Genuine laughter 😂 from your accurate special effects midway through review. Thanks, I needed that! Wore this at 14 as my first real cologne purchase after Brut 33 Splash-on and now again at 50, both times in the United States. Smells the same to me as well though it’s the green formulation made in Spain (March 2023). Instantly dropped 3.5 decades on the first whiff. “Spray” with my bottle was between a squirt and a drip but like your special effects, accurate by design. No problem picking up by cap as two other reviewers indicated. This classic deserves better quality control and UNESCO world heritage designation as there is agreement among three out of four reviewers that I’ve reviewed that it can be worn in all climates.

Thank you for the review Oud al layl is definitely a beast of the beast and it has a loud projection. Warning: you don't have to do more than 4 sprays because you'll kill yourself and your surroundings, even two sprays will put you off indoors. THIS IS A MONSTER. According to me it smells rosey, spicy, soapy and fruity at the same time then after few hours it smells like a bobble gum.... This fragrance is amazing and it has 6-7 hours noticeable projection.

Thanks mate. I have worn 12 sprays of this before and it was great! A bit frightening but great. Definitely overkill but I do that quite often with strong fragrances. I recently had a slightly embarrassing situation on a bus after I’d gone a bit heavy on my Mancera Black to Black. It was like chemical warfare. I’m surprised the bus driver could see where he was going to be honest.

It’s an absolutely excellent fragrance, even the new produced in Spain version. I’ve been going on about this one for years and there’s a few people on the scene just picking up on it recently. The EDP is an absolute masterpiece. Couldn’t agree more. Worn it since it was released in 1997 and still have two of the original gun metal cases that housed the bottles. I will wear this frag forever.

I have 2022 august batch and i use 4 sprays no problem i like it but i dont think that is super nuclear and i still bought backup bottle 2022 november. The most long lasting fragrance I've experienced is still Baccarat Rouge. I'd LOVE to know exactly what it is about that ethyl maltol-oakmoss accord that involves such heavy molecular compounds complimenting each other in such a way that you can still smell in on the skin days later and on clothing, oh wow, it's an almost permanent olfactory stain. I could smell it on my husband's forehead one evening and I asked him how that was possible as he didn't own a bottle. With a bit of detective work we figured out that it had migrated there from the cuff of his sweatshirt as he lay on the couch with his arm up near his temple. The cuff in question had been sprayed in Selfridges a full week earlier. Unreal. I've never tried Sauvage Elixir but the anise note will either be a make or break. I quite like Insulo by Jeroboam and that has a strong caramel-chocolate-liquorice profile so I will check out this version of Sauvage on your recommendation. I must get around to it as it sounds incredible and also Francis Kurkdjian is pretty much my favourite perfumer. The note in Sauvage Elixir is definitely more liquorice than anise. Hi Izedu. It is MONSTER mode for me. I will do a minimum of six sprays mind you. Also, remember that I bought mine, sprayed it a couple of times then put it away for about six months or so. It may have macerated.

Yep. Pretty much. There are a few fragrances I’ll do a bit less of but they tend to be a select few freakish niche nuclear bombs.

Good and good. Depends on your skin the weather/humidity and how much you spray but I find it’s good for eight hours or so with fairly heavy projection.
