Mr. Marshall, there are many artists who are independent, Russ Robson is one of them. He is Canadian and amazing, he sings about things that affect him, reach down inside and write and sing the truth. Five Times August is also another great artist. I've never been a fan of Rap due to the idolization of Hoes and Drugs, however some really great rappers have floated to the top to reveal the lies and deception. I appreciate people who don't shy away from the truth and realize when one is sick and tired of going with the flow. The bullying by so called leaders are not leaders. Real leaders are open to learning and speaking the truth. The truth can hurt feelings but to capitulate to the weak is not correct. So basically this college is for jewish people who feel intimidated at other schools? And there won't be pro-Palestine demonstrations on campus here because there is no campus? I'm not jewish and I'm pro Palestine so this isn't for me, but I'm glad there is a place for jewish students to go. Progressives aims and beliefs are diametrically opposed to the Enlightenment vision of open discourse and debate. Well, well, well ...a group tutorial in which everyone is encouraged to participate without fear or favour, conducted by a tutor who teaches facts. It reminds me of tutorials that i participated in over 50 years ago. Amongst my peers were Conservatives, Liberals, Socialists, and a Maoist. We debated passionately but civily and remained friends. I'm a senior on fixed income, I am homeless because of the price of rent and not being able to qualify due to not enough income for three times the rent requred plus deposit, first and last month rent. I have no family or children. I live in an RV on a friend's property, otherwise I would have no place to park. RV parks have become unaffordable. I worked, was a homeowner, never used drugs, and my homelessness is absolutely because of my inability to afford today's rent prices.

It seems that among leftists, the only ethic is "the end justifies the means."

Just got back from San Francisco over the weekend. Dolores Park had a children's playground where adults were dealing and consuming mushrooms & weed 12 feet away from toddlers. There was trash throughout. Homeless loitered or slept wherever. Felt like the city of Lost Boys. Police patrolling blocks on foot was nowhere to be seen. I'm not going back. I was expecting a classy city; instead, I saw some of the worst squallor of behavior in my life.
