I LOST SO MUCH TIME EXPERIMENTING WITH POLY CARBONATE. LITTLE 4X26 mm SCREWS WERE OK A LITTLE 1mm 2 ICH PLATE OK . TRIED BIGER PIECES 4 INCH NOT SYMETRICAL TOTAL FAILURE . WARPED CRACKED EXTREAM WEAKNESS. COST WAS 65$ FOR A TOTALY INFIERIOR PRODUCT COMPARED TO PLA. CP IS NOT BULLET PROOF OR VERY STRONG AT ALL. 1/2 INCH WARP ON A 4 INCH WORK PIECE. I'M GOING BACK TO PLA.TRIED AND TRUE.

I don't think anyone in the right mind would buy a Ultimaker over a Bambu today. 5 Times the price and worse in every category.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I wasn't aware of the concave center of my flex plate until I started sanding it and saw only the outside edges were scuffing up. I followed this guide and my second test print attempt was a success! This guide + leveling in-bed without the leveling card got me started right 👍

Love the X1E, but waited for spare parts for 6 months. Turns out the nozzle assembly is unique to the X1E and cannot buy X1E parts directly from Bambu. Do you have X1E spare parts on stock?

I was printing some small parts and the prints themselves looked absolutely perfect except they were extremely brittle. I am so happy the electronics that were to be attached to these parts were not - when the parts failed. The parts were so Brittle broke I snapped them in my hands like a China doll falling from the shelf.

ABS also degrades in humid environments after printing, degrades in UV exposure after printing, and is a PITA to print without an enclosure and gasses off a lot of acrid fumes during printing due to its styrene base.

For Hobbyists? Yeah they might be great printers. But at those prices no unaffiliated will be buying one of those over a Prusa or something similar.

So, it's resin based that they color during the print?
@CarlosDavis-w6r20 күн бұрын
I would be cautious purchasing this rather than the X1C. The X1E is only supported by the distributor like MatterHackers not Bambu labs. Replacement parts are different from the X1C and are extremely hard to get and you will need them when this breaks down. Mine printed fine for a month before multiple things went wrong. It's been non-functional for 4 months waiting for support and replacement parts on known issues. It's not worth the price or the frustration.

The only thing that is attractive to me is being able to print prototypes without having bambu steal your ideas since they can see what you print on the other bambu printers. There is always a catch. If the other bambu printers were usb wired and not needing to be online then that would be legit. Any work arounds you found?

I actually think these printers look pretty decent even in 2024. I've looked at dozens of models and have 4 printers. Yes they're not the flashiest or latest anything, but *reliable* out of the box is more important to me than any of that and I don't need to print high speed PLA

I have a question that is a bit off topic. I've recently printed a multiple part print using tpu filament, everything printed without fail. I have now gone back to pla, and nothing will print properly. It appears to be under extruding. I've cleared the nozzle and ptfe tube as well as changed the extruder drive screw. Nothing seems to work, please help.

I have one. It's awesome. Suggestion is to make MORE parts more easily accessible / findable on your website. I had to resort to other resellers for that reason.

I hate to say, but the Elmer’s purple glue stick does not help very well with bed adhesion! I think it dries out way too fast to make anything stick long enough!

Are you getting paid by the amount of times you say X1E? 😂 It is a pretty sweet looking business class machine though.
@CarlosDavis-w6r20 күн бұрын
I wouldn't recommend for a business and looks can be deceiving. If it has issues it's difficult to fix due to lack of replacement parts and will be down for an unknown amount of time.

Price to license check a print sale? So we pay any royalties to the actual thing license owner. Do you advise where to license a design? Does that site have Migrate our things in? Does that site have Transfer our things to another user's account once there so we can sell them? The most basics being sales.

from my experience the problem is commontly a mechanical failure of the stepper motor ball bearings (2 inside one front one back) and their low quality + overtensioning belts (wear and tear). I repaired everything by simply replacing the balls bearings (5mmX16mm with 5 mm shank) plus reduced the tension for the future , so that is just tight enough. Plus you can change the stupid belt that gets damaged over time, even if it is an "expensive" one. So 2 bearings per motor = 1 euro + belt = 3 euros. For 2 motors = 6 euro +the z axis (just bearings) = 7 euros in total. Have fun

If you are manually leveling, with a post-it note or a scrap of paper, using a brim with give you a little bit of time to fine-tune the bed height if the brim isn't sticking, raise the bed until it sticks.
