I've had mine well over a year. Was great for quit a while. Many 1k+ road trips. Now lil over 3500 miles on it. Not NEARLY as comfy as use to be. Ass and hips gets sore just lil over hour in it. OL still can't handle passenger seat more than 50-75 miles.

Thanks for this. Question… I want more sound but not too loud just rolling down the highway. What’s you experience with the Reinhart system? It’s the set up I’m thinking I would like to go with. Oh… and I can buy the slip on mufflers for now and add the header later correct? Just re tune each time I assume

@@rbljackson Reinhart is good sound for the money. Yeah you only need to tune it after you add the headers.

2014 Ultra Limited. I installed this in my garage in about 3 hours or so. I took the advice of installing the lines onto the oil adapter plate before screwing it on, which should have been in the original instructions. I did the same for the cooler before attaching it to the bracket and did the oil filter connections last as they were easiest to reach. I know you removed everything eventually. But I wondered when I watched your video, how well the cooler could have worked, since you mounted it perpendicular to normal airflow. It didn't look like air would be effectively moving through the cooling fins. Anyway, I've had no issues with leaks, and no issues running the lines in protected spaces through the lower frame. I hope others find it was as easy as I did and don't get discouraged from installing this kit, even though you had trouble with leaks and such. I suspect yours was the exception, and not the norm.

@@aradsc as much as I love my street glide, this bike out performed all of my expectations. It kept me up at least 4 or 5 times where I would’ve spilled out on my glide.

You had them mounted incorrectly. The bracket was flipped around. The way you had them mounted, the fans were too far away from the heads. If you had the bracket on correctly. they would have been mounted up against the heads where they are supposed to go. Don't blame the manufacturer when you've not mounted them properly.

You’re taking a gun across the border? I have a suggestion for the seat. I had the same issue about a week into our trip. I used an inflatable donut between 2 sheep skins. Duct tape it to the bottom of the top sheepskin and it’s amazing. Thank me later.
