Amici della musica salve ,ho avuto modo di ascoltare per caso queste fantasie per viola o viola da gamba o braccio a seconda dipende in che chiave suona ,commento ,la fantasia e' in sostanza una composizione libera ,queste proposte dall'allora compositore Telemann ,suona piu come studi che come fantasia ,può essere interessante per uno studente che vuole cimentarsi come allenamento soprattutto in scioltezza sia nell'arcata sia in scioltezza di entrambe le mani .Il resto farei a meno ,preferisco quelle proposte da Purcell ,molto meglio ,chi non le conosce ,si chiamano Fantasie per viole di Purcell .

Medtner's songs are my most favourite of it's genre, it's perfectly balanced, there is enough of Singing, enough of piano, it has dramatic moments, romantic moment, tragic, happy, etc. Everything feels so right and so natural!

The only problem with this music is that it isn't really any good. Dramatic without drama, etc, etc. On the positive side: it makes you appreciate the true musical geniuses even more!

I saw a film recently called La Chimera. The "singer" was tone deaf but gradually, how it should be sung, was introduced. I thought I had died and gone to heaven... should have known it was Mozart with the oboe introduction...sublime
