der arme Golf :( 3700€ rechtfertig bei weitem nicht das Ergebnis! sicherlich ists besser als vorher, alles ist besser als das Original im Golf 5. Aber hättest mit bisschen Internetrecherche herausgefunden, dass Hifonics nicht seinen Preis wert ist. für 3700€ kann man 2 Autos wesentlich hochwertiger Ausstatten. Zum dämmen der Türen ist Alubutyl auch sinnvoller als das hier verwendete Bitumen. falls du jetzt nach 4 Jahren ne neue Anlage suchst. Schau zB. nach Eton, Focal, Audio System

Hi, the total weight of the damping per door with Standartplast is about 8 Kilo, not more. I just pimped the engine to 185 horse power so there is no problem :-) If you do use other materials you should be aware that they do not keep any humidity at all because otherwise after some Years you will have big problems with corrosion. greetz the klettman

It all started as wanting to get a back-up camera...Now I am looking at the Kenwood DNX521DAB, Alpine MRX-F30, and Alpine SPR-60C for the front doors and SPR-60 for the rear. I saw that you disassembled the inner door panels, can you point me towards a good VW Touran teardown guide (book or website)?

Yeah, i've noticed. I currently haven't got the tweeters in a fixed position. Still playing with the position to get the best place. When the ICE is finished (couple of weeks), I will post a video too.

It is to prevent reflections from the plastic. it is anyway a critical position for a tweeter. You need lots of Equalizing to get rid of the phase problems from the windshield

Yes you need to damp the door plastic parts like hell because the mirrors are rattling as soon as it gets a bit louder. Maybe even the plastic boxes of the mirrors itself.
