Regardless of what you say, Slay was not on steroids, and I don’t consider this a win for Leipold. 3 out of the 4 points Leipold got was off of some bs calls from the ref. Twisting fingers, it didn’t look like it but I won’t argue that call, but the clinch call was stupid. That ref single handedly gave Leipold the winning points, and didn’t allow Brandon to wrestle his match. Despite Leipold being disqualified for using steroids, he may have had more reason to be disqualified with questions of foul play

Your wrong on every level, except maybe the steroids, which I do think was plausible being that Leipold was late in his career, and was probably looking for that edge. The penalty for denying the clinch happened all the time, you have to let the opponent lock... and Slay didn't. Even without the penalty points, Leipold had the only takedown in the match, Slay could not score on Leipold... and thus he lost.

@@QueekHeadtaker no he wouldn’t have. Back then you had to have 3 points before the end of regulation to win. The twisted finger call, that might be fair, as I said I don’t think so but that could go either way and I see your point, and then there was the takedown. If the ref didn’t intervene with the dumb lock bs, it would’ve been 2-0 Leipold. Leipold was tired towards the end and I don’t know if he could’ve taken Slay in Overtime. This is a match that had that call not been made, it could’ve went either way in OT. But like I said, that’s just me

He kept sticking his butt out and not allowing his opponent to place his lock, what do you not get about that? The referee says "Present", which means bring your spine straight and allow the other wrestler to place his lock. Backing your hips out every time he goes to lock, not once, but 3 TIMES. Is against the rules... and results in a 2 point penalty. @@ianshue2890
