You people are talking just wives of army officers but what about army officer's parent's rights their sisters and brothers what about them what are you doing about them please leave this hypocrisy in the name of so called feminism in army
@lipsbysneha1815 күн бұрын
With due respect Sir, 1. Being wives we can only be best at talking the wife side of story 2. Frankly, usually everyone is at ease in the comfort of their permanent homes, be it their siblings or parents. The ones who handle separations, change homes every few days, handle kids all by themselves are the wives. 3. Even the army automatically makes her the next of kin & I believe an organisation of this size cannot be wrong at such a huge system of transferring power of attorney. 4. Please note that an episode of an hour cannot cover or give perspective about everyone. 5. Your words come from a very bitter experience. I'd expect a gentleman of your name would choose a better set of words. Plz try to try better next time sir. Oh and yess.... Nobody in their right mind would smell any pseudo "feminism" from this show. (Not defending, just stating the feedback we've received by far. I'll suggest you Google the definition of feminism. All the luck to you

@@lipsbysneha181 with due respect ma'am an Army's soldier come in army from his mother and father why , you all great people think only rights of wives of army officers and not for his parents, ma'am so sorry but your criteria is so wives biased feminism and this by law I am sorry but you all know very well what I am trying to say
@lipsbysneha1815 күн бұрын
Exactly... I precisely know how the recent news & viral reels have prejudiced people... I don't blame you... I still would say, you may be right coz I believe perspectives are not facts. Hence I personally appreciate people who discuss, agree to disagree instead of implying thinking their beliefs and perspectives as facts... I believe in equality and practice as much as I can and that's the true meaning of "feminism" but the feminism you are stating ... Frankly I am against that, like you are.. 🙂 Just one more point, while accepting the dowry no parent says that it's not our right... Infact they almost sell their sons in the name of "sarkari Naukri" how I wish you had thrown some light on that as well... So nothing is in black and white...the crux however is let's play equality as much as we can on our levels... Ofcourse we can neither change an organisation or its rules..nor the society ... Hence 'to each his own' is the best motto.

Hello dear girl. Sure that's a significant suggestion. I'll try covering the same for sure. However only options (if you want to maintain your presence at home with him on all postings) are either WFH or doing B.Ed & teaching in Army or pvt schools wherever you're posted. Actually you can start your online / e commerce business, counseling, teaching online or Content writing/ social media manager. Read Reddit & talk to a career consultant for more suggestions. First find out what kind of work satisfies you the most & would be sustainable in the longer run. Plz follow my Insta coachsnehasingh for more. DM me there if you wanna ask anything else... Happy to help 😊

My husband has retired from the army, first I should get money from the army to support my children in school, I have to write a letter to the CEO for their fees, saying that my husband is not giving me money I am raising my children and that my husband has retired? He did not tell me silently that he has received 28 30 lakh payment and is getting 32000 pension. He did not give me even a single penny for the expenses.

@@lipsbysneha181 Thanks for your response. I'm also going to be an Army wife soon. The thing that's bothering me the most is the party culture, which means, I need to shop for a lot of party dresses. I'm so confused, should I only collect sarees and suits, or do we also have a western dress code for ladies? Can you please suggest how many sarees, suits and western dresses should one have depending upon your experience? I'm soo damn stressed. Wffff!!! 😥🫶
@lipsbysneha1814 ай бұрын
I can totally understand this. As another army sister I'll suggest you what I wish people had suggested me. Please don't go overboard with shopping since no matter how much I tell you right now or anybody else tells you, eventually 1. you will understand the mess culture better 2. At every damn station you'll end up buying loads 😝 3. Westerns are also needed but usually the most decent of dresses should be bought since there are ORs (other ranks) present. For the onset you can buy formal Sarees - silk and cotton with borders, for the mess functions, formal kurta suits with dupattas (avoid bling as much possible) go for classy silks, khadis and cottons. Avoid too many sleevless or strappy blouses... Infact personal suggestion, buy decent tops that can act as blouses otherwise there's no end. However get basic colours in blouse as well. Specially for silks, make it's own matching blouse. Buy a few chiffons n georgettes for day functions in peppy colors and flowery prints, satin n organza can be one each in your wardrobe for the beginning... Yet again.... Plz don't buy loads... Buy state specialities wherever you are posted and our AWWA shops usually have amazing army type saree collections from all states at reasonable prices near canteens ... For more details or confusions... U can DM me on my insta - coachsnehasingh... And yess.... Welcome to the family... Hugs!! 🤗

Thank you for providing this insightful information. I've always thought about the mess culture, but never got an answer even on quora. Today, I've got to know that Army wives can also enjoy their meals in the mess. So, how frequently does this occur? Also, I understand that gradually, every girl has to learn cooking, but initially will she get any help from the mess and other Army wives
@lipsbysneha1814 ай бұрын
If one doesn't like to cook we're usually provided with servant quarters where one easily gets trained and experienced maids and help that cooks well. They're well aware of the fauj timings & dinner parties hence there are many friends of mine who don't cook from ages but have been managing well
@lipsbysneha1814 ай бұрын
However mess is usually there everywhere but due to the dress code and hassles of going everyday apart from a few courses (where wives are allowed) and the battalion sunday brunches & mess events (which are frequent). Women like to dine at home
