If you don't have the Meet options, it may not be enabled for your account/organization.

How do you get the additional options to appear on the Edit page? On mine it pretty much only has location and description. Also, how can I add multiple blocks of time to a single appointment page, so my students can see all their options from one link?

Hey, I'd love to help, but I'm not sure I understand the first question. Additional Options are usually shown on the edit page without the need of clicking an "additional options" link (like in the modal event view). If I understand the second question correctly, all the appoints that you create for a specific calendar will be viewable from the link provided. If you are using multiple calendars, you will need to distribute separate links.

Can I use "present" mode in the slide while seeing students at the same time? Sometimes my slides have animations.

Natively, this is not an option because Slides presents in "full screen" instead of "full window". This may be an option in the future and there may be extensions that allow for this.

So if I am the student. And I use google meet if everyone has there camera on, will I see all of my classmates?

It depends on your view. The default layouts don't allow you to see everyone at the same time, but there are extensions that allow you to see everyone in a grid.

Google Meet does not permit you to unmute someone else. That would be a security/privacy concern.

You can schedule it and withhold the link to the Meet until you are ready.

Excellent video. I'd like to ask. If I am the host, how can I disable the need to approve my guests or participants from joining the meeting so that they can join automatically instead. I am always shown a pop up screen which says to 'admit/deny' their request and I have to click every single request to join. This is really troublesome if you have many guests and if you have already started your presentation. In your video, there wasn't a need for you to approve your two guests from joining the meeting. Both of them just came in. Any response appreciated. Thank you.

You actually cannot disable that. The only ways (at the present) that eliminate the need to approve is to either make sure the individuals are a part of your organization, they are added as guests to the Google Calendar Event on which the meeting was scheduled, or invite them directly from within the Meet.

Well, since you are presenting your screen/window, you technically are seeing what they see. Is there something different you are looking for?

While recording this, I used email. But you can certainly post it to Google Classroom too.

When I share my screen, some of my students say that the screen I am showing is only in a small box and doesn't take up their whole screen. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Two things to look for. First, make sure that you are sharing a window only (not entire screen) which has what you want shown as large as possible. Second, the students should enlarge their windows and/or set their view so that they are maximizing the active member of the meet (you).

I would like to be able to show my church's FB live stream while I'm in another frame interpreting it for our Deaf members. Do you know if this can be done?

Yes. If share the window that is playing the FB live stream, you can sign on your webcam. Those in your meet will see the stream on one side and you on the other.
