Heres my answer. How would you know which car is the safety car? If all cars looked like an F1. :| Be Kindof hard wouldn't it?

The FIA never ever has got on top of its refereeing. Back when we had issues with Senna getting banned thanks to Prost's buddy Balestre, the FIA was corrupt. But they've tried to make several attempts to tighten things up as they've been continually inconsistent. They're still inconsistent. Norris is correct here. It's very simple logic - if this is now a penalty worthy offence then it HAS to apply in every case giong forward, and yet it will not. The FIA are utterly unfit for purpose.

For none F1 fans, i can understand their logic, but an F1 fan knows that they root as much for the pilot as they do for a team, it basically 2 competitions in one. Besides, you can start low and progress to a better team if you are proven your worth, as much as the opposite can happen. If you want to watch an all car are the same philosophy thats great and there are already many competitiona that you can watch like that. F1 is a drivers competition but even more it s a history of teams and legacy.

Hold on hold on!! Charles is not in the same boat as Lando and George, Charles has 6 wins and 35 podiums and 24 pole positions while George and Lando combined have 2 wins so Charles is more proven under pressure and has superior race craft then both of them

Its only because we’re comparing him to max who practically spent most of his time racing against top tier drivers being Lewis seb alonso ect george has only recently started fighting at the front same with lando

I’m saying it. If Norris and Russell swapped F1 careers (George went to McLaren and Lando to Williams/Merc). George would have more wins/podiums than Lando has currently. Not saying he’d have lots of wins but to say that George wouldn’t of picked up a few more cheeky/lucky wins or extra podiums if he had been in Lando’s place is doubtful.

Get out of here, George was put in the best car on the grid to replace Lewis and he still couldn't win, lando has built himself up while also coming up the grid with mclaren, I would argue that without lando being a good driver and knowing how to explain the feeling of the car, they would not be up where they are now

@@bjarulezRubbish. George was renowned for his technical know-how even back at Williams. As he was able to give excellent feedback to help the team. Putting that aside, his raw pace etc is better than Lando’s. And he’s better in W2W than Lando. If he’d gone to McLaren instead of Norris he’d have more wins or podiums than Lando does.

For me I see Charles and George even Lando at times as entertainers before racing drivers, they want to put on a show even if it costs them like it did with george going too deep into the corner early on in the race.

No. Next question. Also the timing of this is so weird. He made the same mistake pretty much everyone else did in the wet. And all of a sudden people are talking about him like he’s a serial bottler. Let’s talk facts. The dude had to go through three years of putting up with a slow backmarker Williams after destroying Norris and Albon to the F2 championship in 2018. With his teammates being unable to truly compare against. Kubica couldn’t give him the challenge he needed and Latifi was well, Latifi. Then, he finally gets into the Merc alongside the 7x WDC, a seemingly renowned career destroyer, and finds out he’s gone from having a backmarker to have two porpoising dumpsters. That even one of the 🐐’s finds a handful. All things considered, most drivers would’ve cracked/given up in his situation. So he’s doing remarkably well given what he’s had to go through. And not only that, he’s currently destroying Lewis Hamilton in the H2H at Merc this year. People are free to say what they like. But if George defeats Lewis this year. He’d be the first and only teammate Lewis has ever had to defeat him overall in the time of being Lewis’s teammate. Button didn’t, Rosberg didn’t, but George Russell might be on track to do what those two couldn’t. Which speaks volumes about how good of a driver he is.

@@MP-tm9nt He didn’t “drive into Piastri”. He went for an overtake that looked incredibly possible, especially if Oscar had done what he should’ve done when he saw Russell was overwhelmingly ahead and conceded the place to try to switchback on the start/finish straight. TLDR, it was a completely fair move and the stewards agreed. That’s not a mistake, that’s a failed overtake. There’s a difference. Btw Norris made two mistakes in the race. Going over T2 and locking up into the hairpin which lost him 2nd place.

Two points. Verstappen made a fair number of mistakes, moving up from mid field to the top. The key point is he learned from those mistakes. The second point is Mercedes only recently gave him a car that stood a chance of getting on the front row.

Furthermore this is probably the first car in his F1 career that isn’t slow or an inconsistent bouncing dumpster. Three years in a backmarker Williams to then having two porpoising Mercs while teaming alongside Lewis Hamilton of all people. Who also found the cars a handful and seemingly has reputation of ending careers. All things considered, he’s done remarkably well given the circumstances.
