I was at this tournament at Roseland...Ralf played great throughout on his way to winning the event. Ran into Nick Varner afterwards and he told me "Ralf played perfect pool, was a pleasure to watch." Chin played beautiful patterns, Efren ran 140 against Dallas West, Mizerak looked so bad, I thought he was going to drop dead several times. Such a shame.

I think this is just wonderful! At one tournament, here on you tube, he and Bustamonte are team partners. I believe Efren is the best!! These two players have played hours of pool, carom, snooker, and anything else in the philipines, before they ever came to America to play.

Wow, Danny is out of it. When Frost cut the 7 ball he said he cut it badly, when in reality he barely missed it, the 7 ball caught the point of the corner pocket and hung on the lip, that is not cutting it badly, that is cutting it almost perfect, he was only off by a hair.

When commentary is unbiased and considers the actual track record of participants, hundreds of internet know-it-alls will mouth off about it. Efren is my favorite player, and this was his beginning as far as winning majors, becoming a dominant player, and staying at or near the top for the next decade and a half.

If it wasn't for Keith being the pro consultant in the color of money and he ended up being in the movie and pool hit it big time we need a new show or movie to get some young blood in the game again 😊

Someone needs to inform Jeremy that it's "cloth" not "felt".

Why is it that Billy and Danny expose the inherent racism in one pocket? 34:52: it’s all about controlling Whitie! Other than that, fabulous match. I’ve watched it often enough to get kicks from forecasting both commentators’ foibles and rejoinders

I saw Corey when he was first trying this break with the bridge, and he didn't originally wrap his arm around the bridge. He uses the bridge to get elevation when he breaks, so he makes the second and the third ball in each side pocket. Wiktors shirt reminds me of a Bomb Pop. 😅

jose makes the game look so easy. i practice pool hard and often and it blows my mind how these guys play so well. i honestly dont get it. ive had lessons, i do drills, i analyze film of myself and cant even come within light years of these guys. i really do not get how they are so good. its very frustrating.

Great match! Thanks for sharing! At 31:51 the 8 or 7 ball moves by itself! I can’t tell which it is lol the ball near the 9.

Keith came into the pool hall injured one week he had crushed his finger with a hammer or something. He was playing the tournament and playing pretty well… he made a good out and then yells out to the crowd “here I am injured playin in the tournament most guys would be at home crying for a glass of milk”. Idk if he used that line often but I always remembered it
