Jason, whilst I do not mind the concept of using technology to maybe voice over, the videos, the avatar seems to be lower quality that the video quality. It is not suppose to replace you as if it could! But, the danger of Ai and this specific technology is should your avatar be hacked as well as your account, then you would have a video, producing content which you do not approve of. Until the platforms can certify content as genuine and from the original source , the creative advantage has to be balanced.

Not digging it. Might feel different about it if every major corporation wasn’t trying to push AI everything on us all at once. I get so much trash AI generated content fed to me in shorts. It was cool for a while until I realized that the scripts are just GPT-created with very little fact checking done. To be honest I’m fine with less videos as long as they’re quality videos.

I disagree with the comments criticizing the avatar. I've watched a lot of videos about avatars and how to create them. You did a great job with this one. All the expressions looked quite realistic to me. Which tool did you use?

I hate it. Ask yourself really why do you need it? Is it a content creation career or photography career you want to create. I think most people would rather have quality over quantity. Anything easy to create ain’t worth a dam in the long run.

Completely, and absolutely 100% AGAINST it. I am against artificial images and artificial voice-overs. If you can't do it live, then don't do it. It is as bad as those automated telephone and online help-lines. When I need to speak to a real person I need to speak to a real person and not be conned.

Here's my mean answer and I hope it shows the dilemma: I don't want more videos but rather better ones. That because I'm watching YOUR videos. If you think AI can do it better than youself, go for it.

I do like technology so it's interesting to see where its heading. As for your avatar, why not, we already get tweets from the White House that staffers produced as the president, and we accept them. Where is photo and video heading though when everything can be generated? Who needs a drone now if you can just ask for a top down view of a specific area. Who needs to travel to a dry lake bed when you can type "Yellow C7 Corvette driving away, wot spinning rears wheels, 70-200 f4, etc"? So many aspects of all of this are going to change.

I am not feeling good about it Jason, and as you know I have been following you for years. I am an older person and am not able to spend money on the Patreon thing, so I watch where I can. If an AI generated "Avatar" is what you need to conduct business and training, then by all means go for it as it is a personal choice, but as for me I will have to bow out. Thanks for the years of effort you did put into your videos, I did buy Rotolights as you recommended, so at least one company benefited.

I enjoy the on site part of your videos the most. If the avatar mean we get more videos I am fine with it. The content and message is still your own.

Yeah, it's not there yet, Jason. I have a client who is doing the same thing, just for stuff like internal onboarding. Wait until it's so good you can't tell. You can totally tell it's not you, even if you didn't reveal it, and it's not great. Hire editors if you have to, but don't do this to yourself or your channel. Love your work, and want to hear from YOU. 😀 💯
