Fishing with grandkids is so much fun, they get so excited. So far, my granddaughter has caught the biggest fish this summer. A 10 1/2 " Crappie. Which is nice size in the lake we fish at.

Some people are sick in the head, we've all made mistakes that killed a fish or killed it to eat it... but to leave it out to die with no intention of eating it is psychotic behaviour.

I hate to admit it, but we got skunked this weekend in the tournament. 21 out of 28 boats came back with a 5 fish limit. 4 of us game back empty handed. It was cold and windy and I do not do cold very well with the 3 titanium plates and screws in my neck. As the team leader I missed a few calls that might could have landed us at least one fish, which was my goal. That is always my goal, to come back with at least one fish. I will lick my wounds and we will get them at the next stop, which is Crooked Lake. There were 2 bags over 20 lbs. So, someone found them. 7.69 was big bass with a 7.14 coming in 2nd.

No pros here, just a couple wannabes. LOL, I will share some of the nice ones we catch this year. The tournament season is about to begin and we are going to try our luck in the XBS Central Florida Division.
