got mine a few weeks ago, they are so fun haha. Not quite as good as the lime scooters you can rent, it has less torque up hills but has a higher max speed on flat and down hill. Charge lasts about 7-8 miles at full use for me a guy at 180. its roughly 280 dollars on amazon right now, honestly an awesome buy so far. Gonna get a nice Ausom Leopard now since I really like escooters but this is such a great starter, cheap and works really well.

find videos on betaflight and how to configure a 5" quad. It should be ready out of the box but you do need to add a compatible receiver. I ended up returning this because this required me to solder a receiver and jump a couple pads on the FC, which I didn't want to do.

I just got a new Billy goat V2 and they sent me a faulty battery that doesn’t even WORK. Until they send me a new one which I was promised than I will be happy but at the moment I am more than frustrated! A bike that cost over 2K should not come with these problems. The owner has told me he will send me one but with no timeframe? So now I’m sitting with a Brand new bike with a broken battery. SMH
@skytalon74
@skytalon74 Ай бұрын
Anything you buy can have issues. I bought a new 35K car and it had issues with the suspension and brakes, but yes, it is frustrating. For your issue, make sure the battery is mounted properly, and the plug ports connect flush. The Billy Goat battery goes in with the bottom hook first then push the top part into the frame plug. Have you tried a multimeter to check the battery volts to see if it's charged? Also check out the speed controller to make sure everything is connected. It might even be a bad controller.

from the manufacturer, it should be set to go for pedal assist. You need to use the button on the left side to change the speed. Hit the plus + button to increase from 0 up to 5 [or more if you have a new model]. See my video of the settings menu that I configued: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fp9nZad_yMjDeYk.htmlsi=jvrf-V1UVouJD80V&t=293 As for the headlight, you might even have a bad wiring harness. Hey bro, next flat, don’t pull wheel. Deflate, use tire levers which come with most patch kits. Pull tube out at puncture point, add patch, reinstall tube, inflate. Total time, averages 20 min. Can patch 5 or 6 times before I would even consider changing tube. 👍🏻 Check out YT videos, fix flat without removing tire. 👍🏻

Thanks for the comment. No, you should not have to add any brake fluid as these should have been filled from the vendor. When you squeeze the brake do you see the caliper moving the pads in at all? I'm sure you gave it several pumps. If not, I'd contact Goat Power Bikes/Bryson to see what they can do for you, since at this point it may be not filled with fluid. Do you see any leaks?

Since the demand is high now it will take longer from what I am seeing. On their website it will indicate what shipment date is set for [from overseas, can take weeks]. Then once it's at their warehouse, shipped and picked up by FedEx, it took a week to get from Cali to FL. No issues or regrets for my bike. It's exactly as advertised and for my weight at 145 lbs I can get up to 45-46 mph.

@skytalon74
@skytalon74 Ай бұрын
We'd have to ask the Seller/Bryson on that. But the V2 from what I heard got updated with an optimized speed controller and now working rear blinkers since the, I think March shipments. These are for sale on their website if you want to upgrade them. Yeah, full out speed my range is under 20 miles but with mixed throttle a little over 20 miles. I don't think Billy Goat frame is built for a secondary battery but we can get creative ourselves and add the rear bike rack [also for sale on their site] and mount another battery, then wire this in parrallel to the controller. A battery blender may be needed if the Volts and amp discharge rating do not match. Very doable.

did your bike come with the front axle installation document? -the axle goes through the HUB and on each side has a spacer, washer and axle bolt. The longer spacer is on the non disc brake side and just that goes on the inside of the fork. The washer and bolt is on the outside of the fork.

So did u use that particular jack to fix the flat? If so, did u have to rest the handle bar against a wall, then elevate it on the jack, then take out the tire? How stable is it? I just got a flat on my motor g v3 rear tire too, but thinking about just flipping the bike upside down. But I am unsure if the motor cable is long enough for the wheel to rest on the ground from that position once I cut the zipties to give it extra length on the cable. Did u have to unhook the motor cable from the controller? (I hope not. lol) What's ur advise? Thanks!
@skytalon74
@skytalon74 Ай бұрын
Yes, I actually only needed two jack stands and was able to keep the bike upright! You can even use a block, books, wood, etc... to give it enough height. Checkout my vidoe on how I did this and you don't need a car jack as I mentioned to lift the bike. Just install you foot pegs inverted so you can use as a lift point. Then lean the bike to one side and slide the jack stand under each of them. Super easy and very stable. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bNSqqtOivdDFqIE.htmlsi=bHsdfvij5nVA3Fx4 I only had to snip the zip ties and didn't have to unplug the motor on the controller. But even if you do it with the bike flipped and resting on the seat and handlebar the controller is under the seat so it's enough slack.

hmm... I'd expect you to get at least 42-43 MPH with at your weight. I think BG top speed advertised is a bit high. I have mine at 23.2 For the chain, adjust the rear derailleur so it move to the outside a tad. You can just turn the dail that at the end of the cable; next to the deraileur. For the brake, you have to adjust it manually by unbolting it and shifting to it does not touch the rotor.
