I come from a difficult, and psychologically abusive relationship with my father who was a covert narcissist and had robbed me of my self-worth, I grew up homeless with him for a very long time during my upbringing and never had a good home life growing up. I managed to escape that and had to go great lengths to get away from him, I was lucky to have known the people that supported me and helped me with that process. I went to go be with my extended family that had found me on the internet, they thought I was a gift from grandma that passed away, I genuinely felt that I would belong with them and I thought they felt same way, but unfortunately, I guess they didn’t. What seemed like a gift from the universe, just turned into something that only contributed to my psychological and emotional wounds, I was only with them for 3 months because of how difficult they were to live with, and how conditional their love and regard was towards me, their love was like a benchmark, I couldn’t really be loved or accepted for just the way I am, I would hear a family member say “But he wasn’t raised that way!” “Oh it’s just gonna take time.” …and had to constantly jump through hoops in order to be loved, and if I wouldn’t, then it’s basically ‘bye peace out can’t live with your family’. I can still remember how my aunt was like “You’ve been going on 3 months!!” It’s just unfair to me how my upbringing pretty much got robbed by a narcissist father and is something no kid should ever have to go through, while my fully related brother got to have what they called a ‘privileged life’. Yet, some online stranger on discord invalidates me and went on to say “why should they love you” and “who are you and why should you be loved and cared for” and another person made a negative comment about me wanting a life there with my family and he said “you don’t seem to realize you want a warped and distorted view of your family” and calls me a “poster child of emotional immaturity”. …even a former friend laughed at me and invalidated me saying “well they raised your brother and not you so he’s their kid” and that put more salt in the wound…and my aunt didn’t even have any idea why I went to go be with them, even though she invited me and was like “why not come stay here?”. She would ask me “What are the advantages that you think you have of being here?” but in my mind I’m like “I didn’t come here just so I can gain some kind of material advantages or benefits I came to have a life here with my family” I told her “I don’t know” and she was like “then why did you come live with us honey?” …It has put me in a constant endless loop of rumination. I remember I stayed with a friend of mine and his family because his mom couldn’t sleep at night knowing that I was sleeping in a car in a parking lot somewhere. They treated me as equally as their 2 boys… I wanted that with my brother… every other kid gets to have a family home life with their families and their siblings, I believe it is the most basic thing a kid can have… but I can’t? I’m not supposed to?… I have had someone that recognized the validity of my feelings though, and that person said “how on earth can you not be allowed just the same if not more”. I just wanted a life there with my family… Why would that be a wrong or reprehensible thing? I can’t believe that, I went through that whole process, of getting away from my father, and finally got to go live with my extended family, only for it to, pretty much, backfire? all because, “they raised my brother and not me”. I thought I would be their kid too….

Don’t wait for an apology to forgive them 3. Refuse to gossip about them! 4. Refuse to play their game 5. Refuse to cave in 6. Always take the high ground I recommend watching this video in its entirety. Seriously good teaching! Thank you for posting! God bless you and keep you always!!

Let go of toxic people also! I don’t agree just keep letting people step all over you. Loving an enemy can mean being kind at times but it doesn’t mean to let them abuse you. Love from a distance and stop allowing abuse. That is not God.

This was such a helpful talk by Rick Warren. Does anyone have a copy of the HI RES version. I'd like to take a clip to play in church. But can't find a copy of the high res version?

I think that the pastor who had critizied about your preaching is correct. You are not preaching the rest of the words of God. My ex-abuser ex-husband was a Crazy Maker. He would always argue and kept me stay up from all night until 5:00 am because he was crazy and would argue, and argue all night throughout the next day 5:00 am.

You know very well that the Lord God Almighty Jesus ' words are for Correction and Rebuke and it was and still is suppose to be used today like it was used in Ancient Times. You forget that the Lord God Almighty Jesus words are suppose to be used for today's generation. When you do not Correct and Rebuke those who tell Lies and Falsely Accuse others, Abuse his Wife and so mant evil deeds. Then you are not preaching the Truth of the Lord God Almighty Jesus. Yes you kick the person who causes problems in the church but if he or she is telling you that someone is Falsely Accusing her and you do not do anything to Correct and Rebuke other person who is doing wrong. Then you are not preaching God's truth. I forgave my ex-abuser ex-husband for 33 years of verbal, physical and emotional abuse. I know that the Lord God Almighty Jesus heard and saw every time I forgave that man but he never changed and still hasn't changed because he still doing evil deeds against me.

One more thing. My mom started to gossip about me from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 and continued to tell LIES. The Lord God Almighty Jesus said to forgive, I know but the words of the Lord God Almighty Jesus is and are to be used to Correct and Rebuke those who continue to tell LIES and Falsely Accusing others. This is what God's word was, were and are still for Correction and Rebuking the man and woman so that she repents. You are ignoring these very important principles of the Lord God Almighty Jesus. This way the man or woman will repent from doing evil deeds which are telling Lies and Falsely Accusing others.

My parents, sister and half brother know what they are doing because they are Christian. Therefore they Must act and do what is correct as our Lord God Almighty Jesus said...."If you love me, keep my commandments ." Therefore we must act on the words of the Lord God Almighty Jesus. Because if do not follow the words of God. The Lord God Almighty Jesus said that those who continue to do evil are NOT God's children BUT are the Devil's Children. Because they Falsely Accusing others and if we are new creations in Jesus, we no longer Falsely Accuse others never but we must do what is right in God's presence. I have asked other elderly people about the words of God. Are the words of God still applicable to the elderly or not. These elderly people said that the words of God still apply to them, no matter how old they are. This is what I told my parents and when I ask other elderly people is it only to find out if the words of the Lord God Almighty Jesus words are still applicable to the elderly or not. I do not do this to do vengeance or anything like that.

I think that you are somewhat wrong because when these people continue to Falsely Accusing self. The Lord God Almighty Jehovah Father said that if man or woman still sinning against another, that this man or woman can be brought to the pastor of the church and to tell the Pastor what he or she continues to do, which is evil deeds. Then if the person does not listen to the pastor and does not truly repent from doing evil deeds when the pastor is Rebuking him or her for Falsely Accusing another. Then this person should tell the elders of the church about the person who does not repent and if he or she still Does Not repent from doing evil. Then this man or woman should be thrown out of the church because he or she will be considered a Gentile who does not know the ways of the Lord God Almighty Jesus. Yes, we forgive but at the same time we are suppose to Correct and Rebuke in Love the man or woman who continues to sin against another by Falsely Accusing by telling Lies. This os what our creator the Lord God Almighty Jesus says also so that this person changes his or her evil ways. Otherwise he or she will continue to believe that he or she is correct in what they are doing or saying.

My dad knows that he has done evil against me but he chooses not to say I am sorry for offending you because he is full of pride. The Lord God Almighty Jesus said that he will See those who are full of pride from far away. This is what he said.

I think that there are exceptions to a complaint. For example when a person is being Falsely Accusing of doing evil deeds. When one has not done evil to them. My parents, sister and half brother have Falsely Accused me so many times that there gets to be a point where one should stay away from them. Yes, I forgive them but I try to stay away from them.

I hate my job. I sit at a desk all day working with numbers and data, and when I was younger I was an athlete and always doing things with my hands. For some reason, when I apply to jobs that are kinesthetic and manual I never hear back on them. I am just getting frustrated because I know I’m not meant to do desk work.
