Love your videos!!!! Just like our hunting camp !!! I always wondered why you guys don’t have a chopping block for splitting. Makes it 10x easier and less stress on your backs !!!!

Love the videos!!!! We’ve been in camp in my coming county for 15 years and the cabin goes back over 100 years. I feel like you guys should do all your checking weeks before the season. I think to much charging around the woods days before isn’t working out for ya !!! We also are a big driving group of 15+ people every year and set up 3-4 big drives a day through the lycoming county mountains. The drives produce at least 1-2 decent bucks every year

How you doing Rook, love watching your show guys, I noticed in the one episode you said you were having trouble keeping bucks on your land during deer season, you might want to look into getting a good food source for the does during the rut, if you keep the dogs in their you will keep the box in there, you guys are fun to watch keep up the good work tell the chairman that for his sake he better hope the Packers don't play the eagles soon lol are the eagles will go down,
@whiterook852 күн бұрын
All good here, and there! Know what you mean about the food source, trying with the clover. We need that field out back tilled up and planted with something for fall, but don't think it is happening this year. Unfortunately the lay of the land prevents us from doing more than we already did, we make the best of it and have a great time. Take care!

Rook! Loved the intro. Always a bit of work and tinkering arouns the cabin, but a relaxing place to enjoy when the work is done. Wishing you well this fall, hunting season is just around the corner. Thanks for the video! Take care brother.

Rook- great video and thank you for taking us along on your solo trip. The field and property is making strides post logging. Hopefully the wildlife can do a little better with the food sources available. Looking forward to the next trip in preparation for hunting season. Well done. Be safe.

Thanks, seems to be working out well. They (deer, bears, turkeys, foxes) are in there everyday, and night. Seems like there should be more for them to browse on and more hiding spots. Hoping for the best as always. Thanks again, take care!

Any ideas on how to provide more food for the game? I read about planting different trees but it seems as if mountain top game are special and it takes decades. In any case, I think your post logging plans are bearing fruit.
@whiterook854 күн бұрын
Know what you mean, we did try planting an apple orchard when we originally cleared the field, but they really didn't do well. It does take a long time, that's why most folks go with the clover, or some other type of food plot.

My husband and I love your videos. My husband was wondering what a good entree level cigar would be?
@whiterook857 күн бұрын
Try a Macanudo "Inspirado White" should be something he should enjoy without being overwhelming. A good Connecticut wrapper is normally a milder cigar. And when he has it, have him do nothing but sit there and enjoy. Maybe a good coffee to go with it works to. Too many guys try to cut the lawn, or golf etc, that leads to inhaling the smoke (which you don't do), and leads to that uneasy feeling. Hope that helps.
