I couldn't count how many times I've seen Repo Man but a realistic number would be closer to 60. It was one of my favorite movies growing up during the 80s so much appreciation for you taking all the time and research to bring us this presentation.

2024..politics drove me out of Cali, hate it, I love Cali but it's not the same place as pre 2000..actually sooner than that..pre 2000 Cali was great..I miss it but it's gone forever..another piece of Americana dead because of dirty politics..

That looks awesome bud, you did a great job! I prefer building them into a custom bmx like you have done, unless it is a very collectible bike and original condition.

When I was a freshman in high school, the older kids from sports teams liked to get together to watch the movies with snl actors like Night At The Roxbury and Superstar, and the movies were funny enough, but I was just trying to laugh when everybody else was. Eventually, when I was a junior or senior, I tried smoking weed and I was talking about it during lunchtime in line at Taco Bell and I said finally, Saturday Night Live is funny and some cool guy from school in line too overheard and he laughed

i grew up in Atlanta and never liked the wet rides like the log jamboree or thunder river. primarily because people would get wet in that nasty water and walk around under the hot Atlanta sun smelling like wet dogs. (and leave wet ass-prints on all the other rides)

I went to Phases dance club a number of times in 85! I was 15. It sounds innocent but they sold “RUSH” there which was a little jar of THC or (nitros?) whatever it was, that you would huff to get high for 40 seconds. It was serious there for us kids. Lots of drag queens, gay kids, all kinds. It was all dark and gothic. I did the lipsync contest a number of times, where if admirers liked you, they would come up and give you a dollar and kiss you on the neck or dance with you for a minute.

Greate work! Thank you! T2 movie brings back so many memories from my childhood, when i was 13! Back in that days, when i first watched that movie, it perceived as a Sci-Fi action movie, now in 2024 with A.I. and nuclear war threat T2 looks fresh and realistic😞😞😞

Hi Kurt, here is THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you ever lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Mt. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (Jn. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds (it's no fairytale). He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Eph. 2:8,9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church, and be baptized. Visit NeedGod.com and LivingWaters.com.

We'd go to the Sherman Oaks Galleria and try to run in to Molly Ringwald. The Sherman Oaks Galleria - like, and especially, The Beverly Center - was like the movie , "Brazil," on the inside. Everything was neon. Fast Future In Extreme. Haven't set foot on that ground since the original Galleria was demolished, and never will. Amazing and incredible history on the Sherman Oaks Galleria.

5:49 - Practically lived at the legendary Auditory Odyssey. Got Laurie Anderson's, "United States [Live]" 5 record set there (recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music), Gary Numan's, "Living Ornaments," live record set, Suburban Lawns (Su Tissue), Dead Or Alive, Thompson Twins, along with tons of other essential avant-garde, New Wave albums. Best time for music and movies. Again, love your Vaporwave intros.

ripper content as per usual Kirk!! since you love good music and are a man of taste i'll recommend a somewhat on topic song: "it never rains in southern california" by albert hammond. its something special. also "skinhead girl" by symarip. "54-46 thats my number" by toots and the metals. last one: bobby brown is going down by zappa (lols)
