I see it's an Ortophon cartridge but which one? This makes me think I need to upgrade. My vinyl setup cannot do this, and I have a much better preamp now that can take even low output MCs.

I must admit, I do enjoy "watching" the Beatles music on vinyl, in this case the beautiful "Dear Prudence," as it goes "round, round, round, round, round, round, round, round, round, round" on a turntable. As a young kid in the early to mid-1970's hearing and discovering more of the Beatles music for the first time, I would listen to the Beatles in this same way. Today, it's wonderful to be able to do a search on KZfaq for my favorite Beatles songs, and find that some youngster, in many cases a GenZ'er, has uploaded videos like this, showing how much he/she also enjoys the beauty and joy of listening to the Beatles in the same way. And then the next generation will do the same. And the cycle begins again. Beatles forever, right?!

The U.S. version didn't have the "Lock Track". Most American Beatles fans didn't even know about the lock track until 1981 when the U.S. version of Rarities was released, or if they collected the British/European versions of tha Beatles' catalog.

That's so cool. You really can hear John say "Cranberry Sauce" in this pressing -- twice -- during the fadeout. The Great John Lennon. What a wit! Of all things he could have said there, he came up with "Cranberry Sauce!" And the conspiracy theorists of the day claimed he was saying "I buried Paul." Ha, ha, ha!
