coal is found more higher up in the mountains now, there are ore generation maps on google Chunks DO unload when you go a fair distance away hence why your crops don't grow if your out and about to far away from your base the world is generated when you created the world so you both see the same chunks and they are sync together if you burn a tree down that tree will be burning on your screen your friend having a higher chunk view wouldn't have any effect on the HOSTS PC because the hosts view isn't being expanded if your friend that joined expands his view to see more chunks that would be on his PC not the hosts if you walk 160 blocks away from any chunk it will get unloaded so its not doing anything unless you are closer so if your 160 blocks away from your farm it will stop growing

My current border princes campaign with Cataphs is running at like turn 220+ right now... I started it way back in april of 2023, and it's still going strong. Honestly I think it's the most fun campaign I've played in a TW game. Basically I am running a huge NATO-like alliance of Order out of Akendorf with little outposts on various frontiers, as well as all of Sylvania. If you want to play the game as a plucky start-up human state that manages a huge alliance of order, it's probably the best start in the game; you're surrounded by potential allies & you can pretty easily go & help them to make sure they survive once you've consolidated the south I think they did a great job with all of the southern factions; although only Bilbali survived the vermintide (& I did send an army & restored them to own all of estalia & tilea instead of taking stuff myself)

I see you have a lot of videos you haven't released yet, so I don't know how far you've come yet, so here are some tips on things you may have already done capture a llama so you can get wool so you can craft a backpack that expands your inventory by 10 slots wool is the best material for making money that you can use in the shop that you find on big islands but you can't make money until you've been to the first story island when you have bees on the raft, you must have 12 flowers within a 1 block radius to get the full effect from them if you catch a bird that can lay eggs put the egg in the research table so you can learn medicine very useful if you are about to die to start the story you need a receiver and 3 antennas which must be placed on the second floor and need some distance from each other underwater around some large islands you can find a fish that explodes if you get close kill them with a bow or very carefully with a spear put the explosives you get from them in the smelter

the most important thing at the start is sand and clay so you can make bricks storage boxes can be hung on the wall so they can be stacked, small plant boxes can be hung on the wall to when you reach the point where you have to build the second floor, I recommend support beams over pillars, it looks much neater and it doesn't take up floor space

when you stop at an island to get more time to collect things under water kill the shark pick up 4 pieces of meat and leave the head behind so the body does not disappear it takes 5 minutes before the body disappears and 3 minutes before a new one appears which gives You 8 minutes to collect things without being attacked or park far enough away from the island so the shark does not see you when you are around the island but the shark must lose sight of you before it goes back to the raft

beets and potatoes can be planted in the small planting boxes that you can create from the start of the game 😉

Lots of artillery outranges walls. Eagle Claw Bolt Throwers can do it and they're not highest range

for starting over, if you want to kinda of speed lvl, some people go straight for black ice, but i run out of the desert, doing the survivalist journey on the way, and start heading east as i do maybe a couple other journeys. head east till i get to k 5/6 and pick up a foal on the island there, then swim north across the river and go behind the eastern barracks and harvest all the purple lotus around the pond there, then back south across the river and go east to Xel ha and on the edge put down a bedroll harvest some iron and stone from along the shore, drop and furnace and a carpenters bench and at some point a blacksmith and tannery, so you can build a stable and saddle when high enough lvl, at this point if not before stations, run into the black garden avoid the gorillas and just wack some black lotus. lotus other than yellow are all fairly decent exp some more than others, but only 1 hit for each, so can just hang out between times and wait for respawn. in between spawns you can dive for gold from the underwater chests between dagons embrace and buccaneer bay, it used to take me 2 trips to get enough gold to buy 1 fighter thrall, but now as long as you hit most of the chests, you can afford between 3-5 from 1 trip, altho i now buy alchemists 1 at a time till i get a tier 3, and then buy a fighter or a couple after the alchemists. last time i did this about 1 1/2 hours after start on 1x harvest rates i was around lvl 32 and had my horse crafted and a tier 3 thrall already up around lvl 8, at which point i was ready to ride around the map getting some recipes and religions, and starting cartographer , and grabbing Obelisks, as well as running in to learn maproom, lastly running up skyfall ridge to finish lvling on black ice and learn ymir religion.

the alchemist recipe for oil is actually really good, i think for each craft you get 5 oil, so harvest trees with a pickaxe so you get both bark and wood, and harvest spiders, iguanas, komodos, and sand reapers with a pick or pickaxe for ichor, and it makes it much easier and quicker to get loads of oil rather than from a fish farm. craft 100 uses 100 ichor and 100 bark, and you get 500 oil out of it. works with either tier 3 or 4 alchemist.

Yo, so I got a kinda broad question, but if you're willing, how in depth is the base building mechanics? Can you build a wizard tower, or an encampment fully surrounded by palisades? Are there working gates? Can you make burning oil pots to pour on people trying to scale the walls?

The Magistrate does in fact get a rework, tho, ostensibly including improved active unit buffs and a frontloaded and powerful blue line in campaign (including stuff like early access to Lightning Strike) to make him more appealing as a non-wizard backline leader.

I'm looking forward to the Realms of Chaos campaigns personally. I haven't been a fan of any really so far but I'm holding out! Way back when I actually grew to like some of the Vortex campaigns especially for some of the later DLC packs. Especially the Warden and the Paunch and the one with Nakai the Wanderer and that hunter guy. I felt like those campaigns were actually superior in some ways to their Immortal Empire counterparts. Either way I'm psyched about everything in this one.

How can you consider this a win when the most valuable player was sacrificed?
