They are well balanced and have great bass extension but sound a bit lean when placed more that 12" or so from the front wall. Not an issue for some, but I usually place speakers 3-4' from the wall.

I have not heard the BC-2, apparently it's woofer has a larger voice coil for higher power handling. Whether it sounds better I cannot say.

@@joshuacastaneda1837 They are very similar, basically the same speaker with different driver positioning. Personally I prefer the L100's arrangement with the tweeter and midrange closer to ear level.

The cabinet on the amp is original, the preamp has a Fisher 500C cabinet on it that happened to fit perfectly.

Wow. That is a great system! Congratulations. I have some Bruce Moore gear but I can only use it in the winter. I have to switch to a small digital amplifier in the summer. The tubes put out too much heat.

Hello, thank you. The 700M and 700C have both been restored. The amplifier was completely rebuilt with all new components. The preamplifier has new electrolytic capacitors and relays.

I’d say they go to about 65 Hz comfortably. With a bit of EQ they can go down to 55 or so and then I cross to a sub below that.

What happened to the passive radiators? The woofers do not look to be what polk uses for their sda line.

The radiators are original, Polk did not use the usual flat cone radiators on this model.

The cables used in this video are Triangle silver ghost cables.
