If the enemy has more than 0% RES, a 24% RES PEN is ALWAYS more than a 24% TOTAL dmg increase. To explain this, say an enemy has 50% RES and u have 50% RES PEN. You are reducing their 50% res to 0, which means instead of dealing half ur dmg, ur dealing 100% of ur dmg (SO, u get 100% dmg increase, not a 50% dmg increase)

"most people have already a lot of gladiator pieces with good stats" that's just your assumption. I mean, you can always run gladiator with any atk dps char. That's not some crazy hidden secret, but I usually slot gladiator/free artefacts as the 5th slot missing so I don't have to grind for five good artefacts for each set (which otherwise usually drags out the grind by a lot). Depending on what your artefact pool actually looks like this is overall much more efficient, and you have to grind for artifacts anyways to at least level up your sets. So there isn't really a way around it.

Fontaine started increasing character weapons past double on max 5 star refines. Xianyun's weapon goes from giving 28% damage to 80%. It's around here where it started, maybe Furina, not sure.

Problem with a lot of Hoyo games in general, is they make "current content good for x banner character". I like farming GnG for the giggles, but it's hard to swap in Robin, since there are so many bonus's given to Ruan Mei. The difference between Glad VS new set is only about 4 substat so if you have a 30-35 substat Glad set you need the same amount -4 just to get the same DPS and a significant dmg difference can be seen after you have the same substat or more than your glad set which would take months The new set is only a big upgrade on C2 forward where you can use burst anytime and have extra big dmg nuke and both aren't affected by Gladiator

I think you can get the cloak that gives 16% dmg for every 100 credits. Pretty sure that would buff her

I think Robin’s coordinated attacks are uncategorized damage, so only general DMG buffs affect them.

Something you can do for gng is use the first knowledge die which basically works as the abundance path from swarm, also for preservation please prioritise the “1% shield” and the “enhance shield strength by 30%” but MAKE SURE TO ENHANCE BOTH (very important) that’s how you get the MASSIVE shields (40k on a standard run with first knowledge die) Edit: nvm he started getting the massive shields but they can be bigger with the abundance path like die

Destruction path gives stacking atk%. That's the only way to buff Robin's additional damage from SU mechanics

Her damage counts like tingyuns talent where she does additional damage whenever your allies also attack

That stage gives a lot of damage boost so it is not realistic damage output on Robin.
