In 2006, The Third Gen Explorer actually had an facelift not an redesign where the 2006-10 Exporers were not even redesigned they were considered an facelift

Thats because the Tribeca shared the same chime because it was a modified version of the Legacy / Outback but it had a more mercedes / acura looking interior
