Brilliant song performed brilliantly. It might be hard to believe but the Live in Milan version from Act II is even better being even more intense and emotional. It's one of her best performances ever. Such a shame that it is hard to find without having the Act II concert. Anyway, its certainly worth searching out as if you love the London version you will definitely love the Milan one. I have watched it many a time and it still gets me emotional.

Incredible that the work features expansions of two pieces by Villa-Lobos. That beautiful starting piece is super intricate and difficult to both play and listen. It draws form multiple elements of Brazilian musical folklore. The second one is a quintessential Villa-Lobos melody. Tomita had made electronic versions of both on Dawn Chorus (1984) but there ithey sound somewhat rushed and oversimplified, whereas here the orchestra lets the music breathe. Native Brazilians will recognize one if the first themes as very close to the standard "Mulher Rendeira" plus a not so subtle nod to "Trenzinho do Caipira". The Wagner section doesn't add much to the already perfect original score and I found the vocaloid distracting in a bad way.

Ficou bem na linha do Angra da época do Holy Land com um pouco de mangue beat. Gostei bastante dessa música.

Essa música é dedicada a tripulação do ARA San Juan Um submarino argentino que sofreu um acidente fatal vitimizando 44 pessoas. Carlinhos mandou muito bem aqui E fico intrigado com a quantidade de músicos, artistas e compositores que trabalham com a Tarja aqui ou ali ao longo dos álbuns. Só gente fodastica trabalha com ela.

Quando esse cd saiu eu fiquei diiiias no loop com essa música. Mas fiquei triste pq só tinha na Apple. Obrigada por postar 🥰❤️
