I recently attended some Flow training, and I noticed something... the Paser perfomance meter above the presenter's arm (Ref: ~2:58) is no longer considered a good thing to have connected. I maintain what looks to be the exact same machine as in the video, though I've got a DWJ knuckle instead of that one. I have been trying to find a description of the color codes on the metering disk chart, which is what led me here. Hopefully this helps someone =)

I have run a mach 3 for the last 10 years with dwj and never had an issue with the gauge connected. I'm also still using the same .206 metering disc since day 1. Still measures the same. It's just shy of 18,000 hours. Happy cutting , friend👍

You don't offer any information as for "when" to rebuild a check valve. For that matter, neither does Flow offer much information about how often to replace the check valve parts (though I am sure their sales team would like this to be quite frequently lol). In general I do not rebuild my check valves every time I have to go in to replace my high pressure seals. I will generally rebuild the high pressure seals 2 - 3 times before lapping and rebuilding a check valve. Even then I often feel that I may be doing the check valve rebuild prematurely. I've rebuilt my check valves dozens of times over the years but I don't think I've ever had one actually fail to the point of an over stroke or loss of cutting pressure. The only clue I can reliably use to gauge when a rebuild kit is needed, is when I start to hear the check valve "squeal" a bit on each stroke (think clarinet or horn sound). I would be curious to know at what intervals you guys recommend the lapping and rebuild of check valve rebuild. Anyhow, great video series, sure wish I had know about your channel years ago when I was learning how to maintain a Flow IFB 60K. Thanks for all the clips!

Hello, I have an oil leak immediately after the cylinder, near the stem, the black sealing gasket of the bushing is spoiled, Thank you

Oil leak is typically indication that the rod seal has failed. You might consider trying a low pressure seal kit change
