I civilly commented on banjo Brothers Facebook a few years ago about how a strap broke so easily, and the owner of the company freaked out and was very mean it was then I realized that I would never buy banjo Brothers again. The owner is a very mean horrible person if you offer constructive criticism to him in or to help him or others so they don’t have the same problem I had.

It would benefit from many more, smaller balls and at a larger radius from the axle, both with weight and efficiency. The hub can protrude out into the spokes a bit just fine.

Great video thank you I have the same exact set up but my directions call for the salt water mixture to be set upside down at the time of regeneration They even put a flat spot on top so that it would set upside down I don’t know if this makes a difference but that’s what the directions say to do

Hey great video. I also thought those were only 1 pound each. But they're actually 1 pound 10 oz. (26oz) and that's exactly what these water softeners call for. 👍
@twbrkfd17332 жыл бұрын
There should be a ground jumper from the left pipe to the right pipe. I see a ground clamp on the water line input near the floor, but it is defeated by the softener connections...the old softener has a metal connection/assembly which would have maintained ground continuity.
@twbrkfd17332 жыл бұрын
The softener's 1 inch "pipes" are plastic! The only dissimilar metals which cause serious galvanic corrosion are iron and copper. Copper on PLASTIC will not corrode. Also, connector has a gasket; plumber's Teflon will have no effect.

The only issue I see with this hub is the weight being 5 1/2lbs, and it not being capable of withstanding 160nm of force. Everything else about the Nuvinci Enviolo is seemingly perfect.

The new Aquasure System was $549. The old one was there when my brother moved into the house and he's been there for 10 years. We assume the previous home owner installed it 10 years prior to that. aquasureusa.com/products/aquasure-harmony-series-whole-house-water-softening-system-48-000-grains

One hell of a well machined piece. At the price these 171's are going for, you get rohloff quality for 1/10 the price. 8 lbs, but can take 96nm of force.
@buffalomind68382 жыл бұрын
8lbs? I guess this also involves the two wires and plastic changer? No wait a minute’ I have to be missing a whole lot entirely. I hear it was 5 1/2lbs in total, or at least for the hub with the wiring and plastic clicker weighing say 100-150 grams max.

Did your grass die later? You should connect a hose and run it to your sewer access.

No it didn't die. It's probably because I saturated the area with regular tap water hoping to offset the salt. It probably worked. lol

The parts you use to perform the regen seem to be off the shelf 1/4 inch hose and connectors. Since I already have a softener, I might try to make a hose/connector gadget to convert a filter housing I have to perform this. This is a unique device as regen on any other RV device is messy and inefficient.
@rsg19633 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this. I'm about to pull the trigger on both of these items and was wondering how it worked. I have a Clear Source 3 canister filter system for my RV and these two items will be installed prior to that system. So Pre-Filter to Softener to triple filter to RV. Hopefully = perfection. Thanks again!

Glad I could help. You won't regret it. I really love this softener.
