Rane one was my first controller. Didn't like it that much so I went with the pioneer ddj 800. I love it and Rekordbox! I want to switch to Denon prime 4+ though. It looks so good Plus I'm getting tired always using my computer screen! I just wish Denon made it a little bit smaller

The TLM49 really gives your voice alot more depth... smoother and thicker... the 102 is brighter and thinner... but a pop filter would help immensely... ;-)

@manchah119 күн бұрын
Thanks, and useful for going through the various updates methodically. I can’t say there is anything that makes me jump up and down (unlike daymode, Bluetooth). I had no issues with the previous UI, was just used to it. Maybe I’m not as sophisticated (or picky!) as some other dj’s, I just use what’s in front of me and adjust accordingly); likely because I am very old school and get by with just loading a track, timing it’s intro, manual mixing and feeling the crowd). The main thing in any updates for me is to just make the software work, files uploading, organising, good search facility and improved quality of sound, including FX.

Can anyone answer this? If I put a sample in a slot where the siren is, how do I get that siren back?

Hi checking to see if you're still using the 707 and how is it standing up. Also any additional cons?
@PhearNoneGearGadgets22 күн бұрын
Whenever I use Serato and I have to bring my own gear I use the 707m still. I have been using my Prime Go alot more because I have have been doing short 2 hour gigs a lot lately. The biggest con to the 707m is its age really, not many updates from Roland on it but the flip side is it still works like it always has for me. Hope that helps

@@PhearNoneGearGadgets Thanks for responding, i'm loving this controller in 2024 but i'm not seeing any videos about the jog wheels in terms of scratching or pull backs and the feel or sound. Can you please consider doing one. I need to decide before June 2024 is finished
@PhearNoneGearGadgets19 күн бұрын
@@djmickeyTV Hey so the sound is good on the 707m, I have heard louder sound cards in other decks however this controller sound is still good for a pro setting. AS far as the jog wheels they are just small free spinning jog wheels. no real pullback feel like cdjs. They move fast and loose enough to do some casual scratching on static jog wheels but they are not going to give you feedback like a Hercules T7 or any resistance like jog wheels. Hope that helps

I think the lauten got a damn big midpresence.. i think its a lil too much.. i dont know.. the neumanns are all very qualitysounding. Im usin also just Neumann u87 and a TLM49.. the lauten sounds good, but of another way for vocals. The violin comes BIGGER on the lauten. Maybe in reason for the BIG MIDS of this mic. And also the deeeeep LOWEND. Nice clip my g!

I don’t see the upside to this deck. Don’t like that it does not have a dedicated mic line at this price point. I just returned one that I got open box for $800; no major real world advantage over my Denon mc7000 that I can also use my iPad on. Even my old Denon mc6000 mk1 and mk 2 have more inputs, and mic eq

you can hear the same static noise with the USB-C as with the 3.5 mic , so I guess they didn't bother upgrading the quality with this new release... voice is clearer, but so is the static noise 😂

I still like the 102 BUT I think the Atlantis FC-387 'pushes' your vocals while the TLM has that overall sheen. Micing the amp for your violin?: 102 all day, the Alantis on Nuetral was kinda close. #mics #amplifier #studio #gear #equipment #audiophile #recording #producer #musician #artist

Would you take the t7 with moving platters over the rev1 and rev5 without moving platters?
@PhearNoneGearGadgetsАй бұрын
It depends. The T7 is at a great price if you want to start learning how to spin on moving platters and dont have the money for techinqes or rane platters.

@@PhearNoneGearGadgets thanks for your quick response 👍🏽 always appreciated, here's my dj story, I'm 52 years old and started in the 80s on turntables with moving platters so im familiar with the whole vynl feel 😀 but as far as technology I I'm curious about the rev 1 and rev5 style platters and scratching is still no problem for me but at my age now I'm really more concerned about being able to mix and blend music at small gigs with the help of the new bpm and blend capabilities of these ddj controllers. What's your opinion on this matter 👍🏽
@PhearNoneGearGadgetsАй бұрын
Both Rev decks have more features and if you don't mind static platters, like you said, I would grab the rev 5 if it was purely features you where seeking. The T& is way heavier than the REV decks. A sidenote is alot of the new tech is in the actual DJ software you choose IMO. hope that helps
