I really tried to watch the whole thing to support but that singing through the song that u dont know yet thing is a pet peeve of mine and ruined it for me. Also the 4 artists one blackbird even being on the song is her giving them a spotlight. They now have money and access based on their Beyonce feature. They'll have awards and notoriety just based on the harmonies they offered. They'll go far because of this cosign. Their voices floated like young birds in the background while Beyonce was the mama bird guiding them. Very symbolic. Keep posting! Hope you do well!

"I pray to her" means God is a woman or in the Catholic faith there are prayers to the Virgin Mary. In the song, 'Daughter' there is Catholic imagery with altars, rosaries, priests and confession.

This would have been so much better if you didn't stop in the middle of the song trying to guess what was coming next in the song. And also, Paul McCartney wrote Blackbird for ALL BLACK WOMEN during the civil rights era and Beyoncé invited 4 Black female country artists to sing the cover with her. My Rose was written for her son Sir. It is NOT illegal to do your own research before you react to an artists work. She deserves so much better.

I really like these tracks! I love that she felt like she needed to go this route after she felt like she needed to tone down how “country” she sounded in her earliest years in the public eye. Beyoncé’s got nothing to prove at this point, she’s leading the charge and DOES NOT care what doors she has to kick down to do it. Love that about this upcoming Act II, and these tracks are proof that this is NO pastiche for her. I’m excited to see how this unfolds and what happens in the industry as a result of this project. (Btw, what mic do you use?)
