Magnificent cover. Many angels have fallen from blinding heights. Angie, Julia, Carmen are some of the names ... Although none of them were Angels

What is that tune at the start? Which bond movie is it from?

It doesn't have a name, we affectionately call it "all those feathers" - it is from the same film, The Spy Who Loved Me, and it comes from the part where Bond and Anya are being chased by the motorcycle with sidecar bomb!

Swell rendition. Saw the 1967 flick as a teen and always dug the soundtrack. Finally got the CD of Casino Royale and it's excellently recorded. Sounds positively boss on a good hifi with full range speakers. Bass notes are deep, clear and clean. Probably the best "test" CD for choosing loudspeakers, fuhgeddaboudit.

Well played although I feel 009 Gets The Knife could use a little more brass attack. I noticed some errors in the information on the performance: 1. There are information on the cue ‘Fillet of soul’ from Live And Let Die, but it is not played. The Palace Fight is incorrectly named as The Place Fight. Apart from that I have enjoyed many of your instrumental performances that come quite close to the original recordings in terms of arrangement, orchestration and feel. Since John Barry is no longer with us, your instrumental work and dedication is interesting to follow for an old fan. Cheers!

The original Goldfinger was an architect who Ian Fleming despised. So he named a villain after him! Ernő Goldfinger, Hungarian-born British architect who designed some really miserable (or perhaps pretty good, if it’s to your taste) public housing in the UK. Look him up. Fleming was telling him F**** YOU by naming a villain after him!

I don’t get why people are so cynical towards DAF. The score might be my favourite in the entire series, give or take. Q’s little moment where he tries to show Tiffany his EMP ring is a nice little Q is such a nice bit that never gets much attention.
