hello, i stumbled across your video and i just wanna say thank you for sharing this easy pattern, my aunt currently is on chemo treatment for her lung cancer, so i decided to make the balaclava for her and she seems to like it! she usually wears beanie but she doesn't like on how her neck is exposed, hence why i made balaclava for her. again, thank you for kindly share this for free, i hope you have a great day, bless you❤

Hi there! I just got into making a beanie using your tutorial! (that was uploaded on ur channel about a year ago) All I wanted to ask was about the length the yarn.... Will 100g of chunky yarn, about 40mt work for the whole project?
@CherilynQ2 күн бұрын
Hi! I think I used below 100g of yarn, but it also depends on your tension, yarn material and some other factors, so I would recommend prepare more of it.

This project took me a few months, as I can’t crochet daily as my fingers start to hurt, but I finally completed mine yesterday. I will say, this tutorial made me feel self conscious about the size of my head, I had to make 80 rows!! Either way I love the way my first beanie came out, but knowing myself I know I’m going to eventually make another as there were sections of my rows where I accidentally added too much or not enough, so it’s a little wonky, but I had so much fun!! Thank you for the tutorial!!❤️😁

What if its a yarn thats not streachy will it come out the same?
@CherilynQ16 сағат бұрын
It doesn't matter. The stitch is stretchy itself.

About halfway through the video, I got confident that I could do this, but watched it to the end anyway. So glad I did. Your joining of the two sides (including the difference in the brim) made a VERY nice joining. Thank you for teaching us this.

Do you mean repeat row one or row two to get 26 rows ? I'm confused so it's the stitches from row 2 done 24 more times ?

Aaah repeat row two until you the total number of rows , ok

Hello, I am using your video to practice, I am on my 4th row now and I realized that it is a bit curved and one side is slightly bigger than the other, is this a common mistake of should I loose it to start again and also what do you think I did wrong? Thank you....secondly, my work is not stretchy like yours, please what could be the matter?

This was such a good pattern but I did the measurements wrong. It's too tall. But it turned out amazing other than that! Next time I won't be making it 12 inches tall, I'll try 10 or 11 instead 😅

How do I make sure the meet up right when doing the slip knot? Everything is even until that part. I was still able to make the beanie but the part at the top was a little longer. You can’t tell once sewn tho
