Hi Meg its good to hear you talk favorably about Ahsoka. I and my son really enjoyed it and i was getting good feedback on some star wars content channels. However when the series finished there seemed to be so much criticism and negativity towards the show. People saying it was trash and there won't be a second season. I find this sad and disappointing . No it wasn't perfect but some people will never be happy no matter what is made. I guess we need to ignore those threads. It must be disappointing for Dave Filoni and his team to read this stuff also. I am glad they are making a season 2 and thanks for your positive channel, you do a great job Meg. Cheers Dave

Apparently, reviewers who’ve seen the first 4 episodes are saying episode 3 “breaks Star Wars forever going forward” & they’re hinting that it’s about the force. Remember Kennedy with the “Force Is Female” T-shirts?

I agree with your point about actors being actors. I think whats important though is who are the writers. Star Wars is a fictional universe so this doest exactly apply, but as a queer Indigenous person I always think about that. Obviously its important to have queer actors and red face is wrong, but who's playing these characters doesn't matter to me as much as who is writing them.. Obviously this is only my opinion and isn't the right or wrong way to navigate and other people are welcome to their opinions as well!

Maybe the “stoic” description the reviewer gives the Jedi in the Acolyte are just how they are at this point in time. I’m just starting to read the High Republic novels, and the Jedi aren’t particularly likable or anything other than superheroes with no true threat. I’m actually one of those fans who prefers the non-force-wielders because they have to handle things without the benefits Jedi have.

Anakin always lived both sides of the Force because he is literally a son of the Force. He's not a son of the light side of the Force alone. He's a son of the Force. And all of the Force was always seen with Anakin, from the time he was 9 years old, even in that deleted scene from The Phantom Menace until Padme and Luke kept seeing "the good" in Darth Vader.

The biggest problem with Star Wars is its "vocal fans" who aren't really fans. They are critics just being critical. Those opinions get amplified by social media's promoting controversy and conflict. You don't like something. Great, don't watch it and don't tell us what you think someone else should do.

Stoic Jedi? You mean like current Ahsoka, Kenobi in Ep 4, and Qui-Gon in the prequels? Or the way Jedi would be acting if there weren't any Sith around for ages? Perfect! And, as far as the fans that "have already checked out"? Screw them! Bailing on a franchise over creative differences, when there wasn't intent, is a cop out. This is brand new territory we're venturing into. Disney has heard the backlash, that's why they promoted Dave Filoni. Give them a shot and let the regrowth be gradual and not instantaneous. You know Meg, during Covid I spent those months watching the animation series, as we know that everything stopped. And I gotta say, I really fell in love with those characters despite them not being live tv because it was still George’s vision of what he wanted to see happen in Star Wars. So I was smitten to see them being introduced in Live-action. So I’m all in to what they plan to do with the newer stuff, and I’m gonna give this series a chance too.

At this point Meg needs to take a break she’s no longer a FAN but she’s a Disney PLANT it feels like.

I agree this comic lessen the meeting in Empire Strikes back. I dont understand the reason for this meeting at all. It was unnecessary.

I’m sorry, but you are dead wrong. Researching a role is the basics of any actors job. A understanding of the source material, gives actors a more accurate performance, which is crucial to hook the viewers interest.
