This is incredibly pedantic and doesn’t affect the rest of the video in any way, but: Melia and Tyrea don’t share any parents, and thus aren’t half-siblings (and aren’t related in anyway). Melia and Kallian are half-siblings, and Kallian and Tyrea are half-siblings, but Melia and Tyrea are not Loved the video btw ☺️

so now i'm just wondering what happened to the rest of the xenoblade 2 crew during the prologue and future redeemed, cause judging by nia saying "see you soon" that implies that they are very much still alive even after 1000 years passing due to building origin and the events of xenoblade 3

No, A is just Alvis, so there’s no way that she’s related to Matthew. The only roundabout way they could be in the same family tree is: Matthew being the great great grandson of Rex, who married both Pyra and Mythra, who could be considered to be the sisters of Alvis.

Some interesting notes: -According to Crisis Core, Zack and Cloud travelled on the road for roughly a year prior to the former being gunned down by Shinra Infantrymen in the outskirts of Midgar. -Tifa worked at a restaurant 5 yrs prior to the games to pay off her hospital tab. It’s there that she met Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge one night (Traces of Two Pasts). -Aerith wrote 88 letters for Zack during the span of the 4 years that he was missing. She assumed that he moved on from her. It’s also vague if she had sensed his death outside of Midgar. -Cloud, despite never making it into SOLDIER, had always displayed impressive swordsmanship as a Shinra Infantrymen. Though it’s hinted that his stubbornness might be the reason as to why he never made it. -Sephiroth was born in Nibelheim according to other source material. -Vincent’s place of birth was never established. -According to On the Way to a Smile, Aerith, from within the Lifestream, was able to protect Tifa’s mind in order for the Fist Fighter to help fix Cloud’s broken psyche. -The actual canonical reason as to why Vincent and Yuffie never appeared in the original ending of FFVII was because they were evacuating the citizens of Midgar when Meteor was approaching the Planet.

My memory might be off on it, but from what I understand, she hooked up with him, partially because of her guilt in her involvement for being an accessory to Vincent's father's death. But partially she did it FOR SCIENCE! Because, she was as inwardly awful as Hojo was. But Vincent who loved Lucrecia, basically absolved her of her wrong-doing.

That was actually fun and really informative I still struggle to understand the concept of Jenova and sephiroth, if he’s possessing her, what her humanoid form is and why act when he does, what was he doing over the 5 year period from the nibelheim event until the start of the game

@@pasudraws4206 I did get that, that he was possessing parts of Jenova, I didn’t get the clones and guys in robes until rebirth unless that changed. I didn’t know until I saw this that the promised land was the life stream. I thought it was Midgar and shinra just didn’t realise they’d already drained it.

Back then, nobody knew. Cloud threw him off on the mako reactor and he fell into the lifestream. Sephi was presumed to have left (missing). During those years he was assumed dead somewhere cuz he was never seen again. When he showed up at midgar HQ it was a jenova manifestation apparently cuz it reacted to Cloud's presence, but no one, including the player, knew what tf was going on. We just assumed its sephi, and then you get the nibel town exposition explaining the backstory. Ppl blame Nomura for all the over-the-top shenanigans when Kitase and Nojima were the ones in charge of the script.

Pretty decent recap, actually! One point of contention: I think that in the OG Shinra just pays actors to stand in Nibelheim and pretend the town was never burned down by Sephiroth, although it WAS still full of the black robes...

It was a cover up story. Even Tifa’s Master, Zangan, found it suspicious when he eventually visited Nibelheim sometime after dropping Tifa off to a doctor in Midgar.

He still does, at least in the dialogue script I looked at corneo says “Shinra’s trying to crush a small rebel group called AVALANCHE, and want to infiltrate their hideout. And they’re really going to crush them…literally. By breaking the support holding up the plate above them.” Thanks for watching!

I played 1 through to future redeemed including torna this year. Years of gameplay crammed into a couple of months. As huge as this saga is and as much as I enjoyed parts of it, in hindsight I wish I had given the games a bit of time to sink in and breathe. Watching your videos after just finishing has helped to unscramble some of the bits and pieces that still didn't fully make sense or weren't clear by the end of it.

Im glad im spoiled this ending this game is kinda terrible. Im a bigger fan of X1 and X torna golden company. X2 is over complicated for me and that fairy tale ending stuff dont sit right by me.

The reason why Alvis has super god power is due to his particular objective in the Trinity Processor. Pnuema: Extracted the ether from the conduit. Ontos: Controlled and gave form to said ether. Logos: Disposed of any excess of ether unused. XC1 world was made almost entirely of ether. This gave Ontos the hability of basically do anything he wanted with everything in the world. Zanza and Meyneth's powers come from Ontis and both have their own Monados (In a certain way Alvis is a Blade with 2 drivers).
