Is it worth it to go to trade shows and talk to prospect booths or only to go for the group events or to have a booth yourself?

Great question! It all depends on your goals for the show and who is attending. If the goal is to learn, keep up to date with industry trends, or find new vendors, then attending rather than exhibiting is best. The group events have varying importance depending on the industry. For example, group and after-party events are more important at SaaS and tech shows than, say, pet trade shows. However, you typically need a presence at the show with a booth or a keynote speaking session to meet new prospects and get leads.

i have been in many many exhibitions as a visitor all over the world , and what you just said in the end , ( the DOS ) , a lot of exhibitors they just dont care about those basic things , cold poker faces , lack of confidence

Hi AIR J! According to Pokémon's website, you have to register online, even if you qualify for the World Championships. However, spectator badges are also available for purchase to those who are not interested in competing in the tournament. Otakon hasn't been in Baltimore for several years. It moved to the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C after they out grew the Baltimore Convention Center at Inner Harbor. The convention moved in 2017.
