Try to jump and pogo, it's the only way to hit yourself without taking damage. To pogo you have to jump and hit while looking down. Just do a run practicing the pogo and you will get familiar with it very quickly.

Yoo i played the mod too! It has a custom boss before you fight the final one, which is the possessed sword, hammer and axe mobs in a fight, unfortunately the final boss is bugged and you can only kill it by cheat sheet
