Hey, man, do you like Kyuss? That was the band that ended up creating Queens of the Stone Age. Kyuss has an interesting history, and the music scene they came from was unique and lightning in a bottle.

Everything I didn't know I needed to know about Fidlar. I'm seeing them for the first time in Chicago for my 51st barfday. Hope everyone gets a chance to see them!

The house cost $60-65 thousand dollars. Louise’s father bought the house for his daughter and grandchildren.

You have a photo of a “7th body” that has nothing to do with the DeFeo murders.

Animal Collective, Wavves, Phantogram and a bunch of other indie pop remind me of living in South Beach and meeting a few really good friends for a few years back in 2009-2011 😭

It’s everloving not everlong, it’s heehaw stomp not swamp, and the graveyards full not graveyard full…. It’s also hung at heart not hung outta heart

I got into them in 2014, I remember watching a live session of a Million Lovers and me and my wife (back then we had just started dating) got deep into them, we saw them plenty of times live in San Diego, although they are broken up I have a gut feeling they will come back some time in the future

I read that Wavves dad had one of those SWEET boomer jobs where he wrote jingles for the hershey company. Imagine catching a steady check to go into the office and play tiddly winks on a piano for a few hours

Kiss is short for Kissena BlVD. In Flushing Queens and that's how the name Kiss came to be.

I neither like right wingers nor leftists. But I hate those extreme lefties specifically, preaching equality, love, feminism and all that bullshit all day - while being the worst of the worst delinquent hypocrits. For me the lesson here is, don't trust people who talk about being nice.

The growlers remind me of my first marriage. It was a band that my ex and I really bonded over. I have all their albums on LP, a few shirts, and black memories, of course. Lol. Love him and them forever.

The EP from 4:36 is the "John Barrett's Bass Drum of Death EP", it was 5 songs called Stain Stick Skin, Ballad of Bandit X, P Ghost, Slow Eyes, and Sucker Free. From what I know it is nowhere to be found on the internet but there are low quality clips of these songs on KZfaq. I hope John decides to release this EP soon. It would be hear the original BDOD songs in all of their glory.

I remember finding them in 2012. I miss those times blasting FIDLAR longboarding going 40 mph down a hill high as a kite in Highschool. Bad times and good times, but something I'll never forget. Those Socal sunsets with homies drinking 40's we lifted from the local CVS listening to these guys was something else.
