Leaves spots all over your furniture and floor I made this recipe. It last a long time but does leave a lot of residue behind

Hi there I made this formula and when I added the witch hazel it went cloudy - I am wondering if that is because the witch hazel I used is an extract which contains alcohol and water?

Fragrance oils solubilise in alcohol. What poly 80 is for if you don't add water to your recipe? 🤔

I have a concern may I ask about? Is it too many scent notes? Will customers get confused? Just curious.

I use a coco soy wax with no paraffin, and it’s good for candles and wax melts also.

I SO agree on that fragrance! Cant wait to use it. Thanks so much for reviewing this wax. I too am using the 8 oz auras so this is really helpful.

Soy tends to absorb the chemical (forgot the name) in wood wicks and turn the wax brown. This is the only reason I wouldn’t pair soy wax with wood wicks.
@ajminxy23 күн бұрын
All waxes will do this. Soy wax tend to not have the additional additives that the other wax blends have to maintain the white color
@luckysportQuick23 күн бұрын
@@ajminxy It doesn’t happen with Coco Apricot Cream. I’ve tested it.
@ajminxy23 күн бұрын
@@luckysportQuick so have I. The best thing to do in any wax is dial in on wicking. For every other wax without the additional additive, it only turns an off color with wood wicks.

If you were selling these, do you need to get a license to use the alcohol in the recipe?
@HowToLymarie16 күн бұрын
Not a license but you need to register your business with Alcohol and Tobacco bureau- it’s free and easy.

Thanks for this helpful video! I currently swtiched from Coco Soy to 100% soy and was struggling to find the right wick. Also, what about the length to cut the wick? I found mine works better when I cut them to 1/8 instead of 1/4.
