HoI3 was... never the most stable game. It always crashed a lot, even back when it was still recieving support from Paradox. One thing that I recommend is running it from the shortcut in your Steam documents instead of running in the Steam Launcher. That made it crash less regularly for me. I also recommend trying out Darkest Hour! It's a really good game with both ww1 and ww2 scenarios

Kinda, in a normal playthrough you commit them because it benefits you in some way, in this challange you intentionally go out of your way to commit them, even if doing so provides little to no benefit

@@baaaseman Considering its a game from 2009 it might just be the fact its compiled with outdated libraries, and if that's case then there's nothing you can do except install an older OS. Its that or it could just generally be unstable. 🤔

@@baaaseman The game should absolutely run on a virtual machine. You should do it if you ever plan on revisiting the game. The recommended OS is Windows Vista/7 which isn't supported by Steam or GOG (Gog forum users say its broken on Win7 but I may be wrong), the only official retailers for HOI3 meaning you will have to either do some technomancy to get steam working or get a cracked version
