Thanks for the tip and for sharing. I cracked my phone screen, but the cracks aren't too too big. I put tape over my screen to keep it from getting cracked more. I can't to buy a new phone .

I would use the wrench to avoid housing damage. However a pair of channel locks will work in a pinch to loosen it. They specify torque when putting it back on, so I would just stick with that Toyota wrench. Who knows maybe the 19 foot pounds is like hand tightening but I don’t know.

I would have inflated the board to 14 or 15 psi. It makes a big difference compared to only 13.

The first extra psi to add rigidity? Definitely willing to try that.

I so concur with what you say here. I bought a 12' 6" HYDRO-FORCE FASTBLAST economy board, 30" wide. I'm putting almost all my energy into balance. My 2nd board will be another econ board, the HYDRO-FORCE FREESOUL 35" wide. It is also set up for a windsurf sail, which for my windy lake, seems like the direction I need to be heading. We don't have glassy mornings to start the day.

I get a kick out of these squirrel defeater videos. At the heart of them all, it boils down to humans not like being defeated by the clever tenacious critters.

Easier way to use the same basic stove pipe. Don't need an end cap. Just cut down about 3" from the top of the stove pipe every 2- 2 1/2" inches all the way around, to make tabs all the way around. Put pipe over pole with an inside stopper already in place. Bend the tabs in and down towards the pole so that they hold the pipe in place. If it is too loose, you can always put a screw through a couple of the tabs where they overlap at the pole to prevent any chance of the bent in tabs bending back out. or

I have questions lol great video by the way. The feet that sit in the gutters, do they have to be precise and from what points do you measure to find out what size to get. Thanks again for all the info

squirrels can jump 8'-10' horizontally. The swing set near your feeder was the avenue they used to access the food.

How about not sitting in the left lane unnecessarily and share the road so people don't need to go around you?
@LadybugAdventures
@LadybugAdventures 19 күн бұрын
Finally, I was waiting for somebody to bring that up! I think that’s a fair point. on that stretch of road there are often people turning right and since I’m going to be turning left, I usually hang out there in that lane. It’s usually not a problem for 99% of the traffic flow. It’s just when you get the very impatient and speedy drivers that want to go much faster than the speed limit that it appears to become more of an issue. Like I said in the video, I wasn’t going less than the speed limit, and everybody needs to be cautious in that area because police often set their speed traps where the speed limit changes in a school zone.

You sound so calm and relaxed explaining the video. I suppose you had enough and drivers will never improve. It’s an uphill battle and nobody seems to care until someone gets injured or dead. Being safe and following the rules does not make the nightly news.

@@LadybugAdventures I know, just cut it and then screw something on that's easier to work with if you're not able to tack weld it back on. Though if you screw something on that would make it easier to do other things if needed.

I’ve put it on 2 of my rods now and on my thinner ultralight I used a bunch of zip ties to secure it really bringing down the diameter of the foam. Just fished with it yesterday and it seemed pretty good.

Unless you’re fishing for whales, just use a surfboard lanyard and attach it to your pole and your wrist or ankle or boat.
@LadybugAdventures
@LadybugAdventures Ай бұрын
I’ve done that as well but never liked being leashed like that for me I use this on my paddleboard as the rods tend to fall off easily. I do use a lanyard for my net as it isn’t used as often as my rod.
